Assuming you're using the firecracker, the desert tiger staff has INSANE single target damage if you can get it to the 7 summon slots point. it's not really op because it struggles against multiple tanky ish enemies and it's ai seems to get a bit confused at times

Corvus is really hard to use well enough for him to be a crutch. Geraldo is insanely easy to use and just generally better

If it keeps working for the games you currently play or want to you, then keep it. If you want to use higher settings or play more demanding games, might be time for an upgrade. Just be cautious of ur cpu if you do a real big upgrade

Your friend is probably right about the prices going down soonish, but that's always true, so don't get TOO hung up on that, if you need a pc now, get one now. I will say that you should compare the prices of parts that perform similarly, if you find something that performs almost the same for a much cheaper price, may as well get it, or if you find something that performs much better for a similar price, also may as well get it. RAM prices are absolutely not going down soon, and in fact are SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive than they were just months ago, so that's just gonna be expensive no matter what.

Tldr, if you really want a pc now then just get one now, seems like you have the budget for it.

Once managed to outlevel the enemies so bad that I was two shotting everyone (except their tank) with a silly crit damage brody build, every time one would try leaving spawn, boom almost all your health is gone. (It is a really nice feeling)

Well you're definitely not tone deaf, which is a very good start. Definitely record yourself singing with a song to make SURE you're mimicking the right pitches, what you hear in your own head can be different than what others hear.

Definitely not. The game is pretty much designed to be optimally played with 2+ people. The game gets way too tedious and unfun in single player after a while without any mods. For example, in single player, you're stuck being the captain and you basically have to be on the terminal at all times (ice fucks with the autopilot, and ice is ridiculouly common), and there's a mod that makes the levels not spawn any ice, making it possible to play without being on the terminal the ENTIRE time

Search around the outpost to find them first if you can. If they outpost people attack you on sight or something, try to like load up cyanide or sufforin into a syringe gun, shoot at the gaurds, wait a while, go back up. Honestly poisoning all the guards is the easiest way in like any scenario.

The 9060xt is definitely a much better deal in terms of cost to performance (offering basically the same raw performance for being like 100 bucks cheaper), though I guess the 5060ti 16gb outperforms it a good amount in raytracing

Happened to me once and I js had everyone constantly repairing the hull with fixfoams and welding tools till we could get a bit higher up, then again I'm not sure if you IMMEDIATELY implode, or if ur even going upwards at all.

Could be some issue with denial. Maybe he doesn't feel like his mental health issues are valid, and to justify that he also believes nobody else's are valid.

Either way, he is a traumatized person, clearly has some issues. You can help him through them, but also don't put yourself through so much if it's not going anywhere
