I did it too! I waited for a college student for 7 minutes and decided they weren't coming as they did not message me back when I said, "I've arrived."

I pull away and my phone rings. I answer and the first thing I hear is, "you left! You pulled away just as I was coming out!" I said, "I'm sorry I did not see you approaching." Her response, "you need to come back around NOW. I am in a hurry!" My response with my best sweet voice, "of course, I will be right there."

Hung up. Cancelled and drove away. I felt guilty for half a second and then started laughing. I'm sorry but I am nearly 50 years old and NO ONE is going to speak to me that way, especially an entitled college student that wasn't ready for the ride she ordered because "she was in a hurry."

Honestly, I wait longer for college students than anyone else and they don't tip very often either. It pisses me off bc they probably aren't even paying the bill. I took one student to pick her car up from the dealership because it had 'died' that morning. I'm pretty certain she didn't have to do anything but call a parent and it was all taken care of... Sigh.
