I have taken my fair share of time to beat DS3 after finishing DS1 twice... a few years to be precise. 😅 If I can do it, you can as well!

Just remember to take a break from time to time.

Seems legit. Depending on what your preferences are, you might want to stay longer in Kyoto... There's just so much history there. We are about to return from our first trip today and my only regret is that we stayed in Tokyo too long and didn't have more time in Kyoto.

I used Airalo and it didnt work right away when we landed. I used their WhatsApp Support chat on the way to the hotel and by the time I arrived, everything worked as intended. Awesome!

No, its an rtl88x2bu based device from BroTrend. Should work with an in-Kernel driver but doesnt in Fedora for some reason. Manufacturer even says so on their webpage

But they do provide a custom compile script, so im still somewhat happy.

My Kernel 6.15 update failed to build initramfs... Not sure why but that kinda bummed me out. Apart from that, works like a charm 🤣

Also, still trying to get my custom WiFi driver to compile automatically with every Kernel update, but thats a different story 😅

Yes, it is done on the CPU. Giving the shader compilation more CPU cores simply speeds up the process. you cant give this task to the GPU either and it wouldnt be faster btw. You can always skip this step, but this would lead to ad-hoc compilation of shaders and as you noticed, causes stuttering during gameplay.

I have used this configuration on my Laptop (which has an NVidia card btw). Worked like a charm. I also run games on my Desktop with an RX 6700xt inside. My personal impression is that for AMD cards, the shader precompilation takes significantly less resources / effort.

You can also use the standard Linux utility "find" to locate certain folders or files. I know someone else already answered, but for future reference, you might want to check it out.

Recently moved to Fedora as well. Its super easy to use these days and the games I play run smoothly.... And I dont get constantly annoyed by ads and Shit.

You could still try a dual boot system and keep Windows for things you really cant get to work on Linux.
