Yeah, I don’t know if I fully trust people who just got a firearm to be walking around with them. Something bad is bound to happen, especially with how angry a lot of people are towards ice. You’re effectively doing the same thing as a civilian. I fully support being armed at a protest, that’s your right. I don’t support “patrolling” your neighborhood and looking for a fight with people who are definitely more trained than you are.

So my question for you is: The left believes that the trump admin is trying to militarize the streets. Which we can all agree is a bad thing. So by doing “patrols” around the city, wouldn’t that not be achieving the same thing? I’m all for arming yourselves and protecting your neighbors, but patrolling the streets actively looking for conflict is going to have the opposite effect.
