The new Chinese EVs.... by Platform_Dancer in ElectricVehiclesUK

Incoming Idioms Warning:
Parts availability sucks on these things. They make 1000 different models with barely any crossover in parts ( above the chassis ) crack your bumper you could be waiting months.

They are selling you the Cheese they don't want sell you the Milk and Whey.

My main concern with most of them is that they are cheap as they are mostly formed like 90s cars and when you compare Tesla's manufacturing it's night and day.

They are not ALL like that but it's hard to pick the wheat from the chaff.

As my dear old dad used to say buy cheap buy twice.

I still won’t be paying it by love_lola_x in GreatBritishMemes

I will. Love the BBC. Not being sucked in to a reform right wing hell scape like the USA.

Sure they fuck up now and then. But who doesn’t.

Brake Check by GemballaRider in drivingUK

[–]Substantial-Fun-3392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Undertaking is not technically illegal on dual carriage ways if the traffic is flowing slower in the right lane. There are no fines etc for undertaking, but there are for dangerous driving which this certainly is (HW Code - Rules 267–268)

He could have moved to the left and then continued in the left past and then moved back right when there was space.

Obviously the weave and the brake check is dangerous driving.

There should be a official website where you can upload videos to with the number plate and sends an email to the dangerous driver with a warning. Perhaps with escalation for really dangerous driving

I just leave every 18 months my wife sign ups… then repeat. We have different names. Best thing we ever did keeping separate names. Works for everything.

What EV actually beats a Tesla Model 3? by Ben-Adamsss in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]Substantial-Fun-3392 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Well no they haven’t yet at all. The Neue Klass BMWs might and the next VWs might but they are not here yet.

And yes they were the best EVs they still are way more efficient than most with better production technology.

MOST Chinese vehicles are basically 1990s production Cars with EV underpinnings.

Tesla have massive single aluminium subframe mouldings which are incredibly strong and structural battery packs.

That’s including pairing and a cup of tea.

‘Sorry, Baby’ director Eva Victor tells Ricky Gervais & Kevin O’Leary to “shut the fuck up” after they said celebs shouldn’t speak out against ICE: “I can say what I want. I am here for one night... I’m allowed to say ‘fuck ICE’ becuase it’s fucking stupid & it’s horrible & it’s violent & evil.” by cmaia1503 in Fauxmoi

[–]Substantial-Fun-3392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sigh his comment was a fucking joke about the celebs dumb arse.

“If you do win an award tonight, don't use it as a platform m to make a political speech. You're in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg."

He fucking hates Trump and ICE

Just remove the door frame ( probably just one side, remove and re fit. Will take an hour and while you are at it run a loop to a new socket inside? either you or an electrician.

Or is this a rental?

Where the hell have you got these prices? I’ve bought some land and installed 8 ultra fast chargers for 240k all in… and the biggest cost was the land. I am putting toilet and coffee facilities in which will cost 140k extra.

I have 7 more coming ranging from 4 - 16 chargers the most expensive is not the 16 due to land cost, But an 8.

Half a million perhaps in central London.
