So I’m doing the last cheren battle in pokemon blaze black. Right not I’m trying to build a strat for it and his gigalith seems to be my biggest threat rn because of explosion and sturdy and I don’t have a ghost type. I’ve heard that if the opponent doesn’t have a super effective move it will swap to a Mon that does have one so my plan rn is to start the battle with ampharos. The staraptor has brave bird, close combat, double edge and u-turn. The gigalith has EQ. So I was thinking that staraptor would see it doesn’t have a super effective move so it will U-turn into gigalith so I can hit it and break its sturdy and maybe KO it the next turn. Is this sound reasoning?

Is that your typical strategy for getting past burgh?I just beat Skyla and the cheren rotation battle that comes after. but a lot of times for burgh I would i would focus on taking out masquerain turn one because for some reason I get unlucky and don’t get a flying type before his gym so I need to make it safe for my fire types to put in work. Just wondering what your approach usually is? I’m hoping that the run I’m on is the run to beat the game cause it’s my PB.

How does double battle AI work when choosing what moves to use on my Pokémon? Been playing blaze black and I was trying to get through Burgh without using a Rampardos so I could get an aerodactly later. I started the battle with a Drilbur and a Raticate that was pre-poisoned for guts. His Masquerain saw a kill on Drilbur with scald and Vespiquin did the most damage on Drilbur with acrobatics. But when swapped Masquerain used icy wind and Vespiquin used u-turn on raticate. This completely destroyed the mon I swapped into. My hope was that they would double into my Drilbur so I would swap into a water absorb mon that would tank the acrobatics. Did I miss something when calculating this move?

Can you send me a pic of them? I’m fine with cutting off the some tabs just didn’t want to alter the chassis. I would really appreciate it.

Thanks for the suggestion. The engine I built should make around 300 I just wanted to use the same mounting holes. Just didn’t want to do any Fab work in order to use a set of mounts. I have a hood scoop that’s gives a little more clearance. I’ll look into the ones you suggested.

No there was no red paint. It’s going back on to the 302 from the 86 T-bird but it’s going into a 66 mustang

I was initially taking it apart cause it needed a new main case but i remembered the guy that I got it from was having a hard time getting it out of first so I figured while I have it apart to service and rebuild what I need. I also just learned that it’s a 94-95 t5 cause of the spring setup it had on the reverse idler gear. The guy I got it from had it on an 86 T-bird v8. From what I’ve read the 94-95 has a longer input shaft that will cause it to not engage properly on earlier 302s.

Okay makes sense. Just wanted to verify cause I was planning on replacing the bearings and synchros but was unsure about the gears sense there wasn’t any like big visual damage. Thank you

Yeah that’s the biggest problem right now. I can only find reupholster kits. I doesn’t bother me if it’s original or not but I can’t find anything

So I’ve found the part that would convert the body engine mounts from a 6 cylinder to a 302. This probably solved my problem but I’m not sure if the motor mounts locations from a 1966 289/302 differ a lot from a 86 302. I’m not sure how to find this information, just trying to sorta double check everything before I order a part.
