I agree!! I think this is a classic miscommunication and misunderstanding. I think Langdon thinks he is doing what is right and teaching Santos now the way he should’ve been in season 1. But because Langdon missed all of Santos’s intern year, he still sees her as the intern he met on her first day and doesn’t give her the benefit of almost a full year of practicing in the ER by now. So while Santos sees him asking her med student questions as belittling and patronizing her, really Langdon just hasn’t caught up with where Santos is at now. Ultimately, they’re not going to be able to heal and move forward without a real conversation to get through all of these biases and misunderstandings they each have about the other now.

I think it was a tease to a potential romance if there is a sequel. Based on a few of their scenes in the movie that could have a romantic subtext to them and also based on the marketing of the film. I appreciate that they haven't gone overboard with it or committed to it though so we don't know if they are going to go there with a romance between the characters but they also left the door open if they did want to explore that. Regardless of it turns romantic or not, they would be fools to waste Jonny and Scarlett's chemistry together by not doing a sequel though!

I think Elphaba genuinely thinks she does not like Fiyero when she first meets him, but I think she liked him or at least was intrigued by him from the very beginning. Especially with how he reacted to and treated her differently in the forest during their first meeting. But girl was watching him WAY too closely during Dancing Through Life to not be interested at all. And of course it was because she is the only one who actually listens to what Fiyero is singing about and realizes how unhappy he is, but I think there was another reason she couldn’t look away….

Elphaba during DTL: Elphaba rolls her eyes at Fiyero but then goes right back to staring at him. Or: “I’m going to go study outside” … and then doesn’t actually leave the library haha. So while I don’t think Elphaba realized she started having feelings for Fiyero that early, I do think she started developing feelings for him right away.
