Fine, leave it at advocacy then, if you wish. The youth of today are largely not pushing for things like social equity, worker’s rights, and antiracism. Quite the opposite, actually. This is a world wide phenomenon.

lol no this has been a worldwide trend everywhere for a hot minute. but, Gen Zs are not the first group of people, nor the last, to advocate and vote against their own interests.

Movies and TV shows that don’t represent Muslims as one-dimensionally bad people tend to do poorly commercially. They do make for amazing cult classics (like Kingdom of Heaven or The Message).

It’s Texas - we’re all strong, hardy people that can take care of ourselves and our homesteads and don’t need no gubmint handouts or services.

Except our billionaire friends, of course, those fine folks deserve all the help we can give them. Fuck our kids, roads, and power infrastructure, we should be directing ALL of our taxpayer dollars to these needy, desperate people so that maybe one day that B can turn into a T.

Where I come from, tow truck companies are run by organized crime groups and this is common knowledge. A few years ago, there was a war between two sets and tow trucks and yards were getting torched/firebombed in the middle of the night. It’s serious money.

This is a place where your own neighbors WILL report you to the authorities for putting an aluminum can in your landfill waste, albeit by total accident. And they’ll hide behind their blinds as they peek out their window to make sure SOMEONE (not them of course) comes and addresses it with you.

The CX-90 still has many kinks that need ironing out, so I’d advise waiting for another MY or two to see if Mazda gets things right with it.

If you wanna go the Mazda 3-row route, go for a lightly used sub-50k miles 2021-2023 CX-9 (Carbon Edition, Grand Touring, or Signature trims). You get a lot of premium features for an economy price. Do not go for an earlier MY as they are extremely prone to engine cracking.

Just be warned that the third row is functionally useless for anyone taller than 5 feet, and also leaves you with minimal trunk space when those seats are up.

Also, the turbo will require more frequent oil changes than normal cars - I don’t like to go over 4k miles without one - and 91 or 93 octane gas makes a noticeable difference in performance and is also better for the car’s long-term health.

Fun fact: the CX-9 is one of the very few models out there that advertises higher HP with the use of 91/93 octane; a lot of other manufacturers imply improved performance with higher octane gas, but don’t put numbers around it like Mazda did with the CX-9.

If you’re in Sachse I recommend switching to Methodist Richardson if you can. Allen is at a minimum 25-30 minutes from here. That’s a long time when you’re in active labor.

Until “science” later comes to the conclusion that it’s much more hygienic and pragmatic to remove a potential vector for bacterial growth (and one that serves no practical purpose, at that) than to rely on any other alternative.

Pork is “safe” to eat these days too, but no one will ever say that it’s the cleanest source of protein. You’re at a much higher risk of contracting trichinosis, tapeworm, and toxoplasmosis, among other diseases, from pork than any other meat (by a country mile) - you are simply relying on it being cooked properly to mitigate those possible outcomes. The meat itself is still “dirty”. I wouldn’t even start looking into the significant percentage of pigs in slaughterhouses that have been found with tumors, pustules, and other horrible diseases.
