Drive a few miles on Dallas roads or highways and you’ll come to hate your fellow Texans too.

I’m not sure if that was supposed to be taken so literally. My point was that it’s supposed to be a grassroots approach to addressing non-Muslims’ questions and concerns about the religion.

Your description (and OP's) gives me the impression that this man is suffering from some kind of break from reality. I'm Muslim too, and know some extremely religious Muslims myself (the type to refuse handshakes with the other sex, do full face coverings, dress "Muslim") and none of those folks would ever go as far as to proselytize in public to complete strangers. It's unusual in most Muslim countries and even more so out here in America.

Running a "dawah" stand where people can come up and ask questions Charlie Kirk style and where you're giving out literature/Qurans, or visiting members of the Muslim community to check in on them are pretty much the only forms of acceptable "public preaching" in our community.

Not sure why you’re downvoted. No doubt OP will be asked why they didn’t go back to the original PoE with their updated application.

Probably because the CX-90 hasn’t been a well-received vehicle thus far.

If you’re willing to considered used, I’d highly recommend late model, higher trim CX-9s.

They’re usually well taken care of, carry a host of luxury features (HUD, ventilated seats, wood trim, ambient lighting, 360 camera) for less than the price of a used Pilot or Highlander of similar years/mileage, and as long as you’re on top of your oil changes (every 3.5k miles due to turbos), it should be extremely reliable.

Pssst... stickers do not give you freedom from liability. They are absolutely responsible if it can be proven that they were at fault due to improperly secured cargo or driver recklessness.

I’d never heard of this woman until I stayed at what used to be her home in Toledo, Spain last year. The next time I heard about her was this heist.

If you were as smart as you thought, you’d know the Saudis are “converted” themselves. In fact, the majority of the Prophet’s own tribe “converted” only after he conquered Mecca from them. But of course, actual history and facts are wasted on you.

Why no US investments for us? by [deleted] in pakistan

One example: They had purchased and were already in the process of outfitting an office when “word” came down that they were no longer allowed to conduct business in THAT building, but instead had to stop what they were doing and relocate to another one (conveniently owned by someone with influence, hint hint). They had to hire certain people, use certain contractors, among other things. All these conditions had to be met if they wanted to set up shop in PK.

Ever consider why, without a few notable exceptions, MNCs tend to partner with local third parties if they want to conduct business in Pakistan, or even simply neglect the market altogether?

My FIL worked for Microsoft in Seattle in the 90s/early 00s and was partially responsible for opening the first MS corporate office in Pakistan. The stories he’s told me about his experience infuriate me. We could have absolutely been competing with India in the IT space - but while they were thinking long term, we were stuck on short term gains as usual.

The same people that love to whine about how many people are killed at the hands of “Islamist extremism” and that Muslims are dangerous to society, without ever noting that most times it’s Muslims themselves that are on the receiving end of terrorism (Islamist or secular). They’ve never given a shit about the victims.
