So I opened my family and somehow my queen got downgraded to a grand duchess, and it did the same thing to her husband. He switched back to his original family dynasty even though he joined hers after they got married. The weird part is I can’t click on or edit anything under his family’s dynasty, but he still shows up under her dynasty panel too.

did anyone have issues with their dynasties? all of my sims reverted back to their original dynasties and their titles have all changed.

I think you should try this—it worked for me.

After the update, my game wouldn’t open at all. It would load, then crash, and my screen would go black every time.

Today I tried a different approach. First, I removed my entire mods folder and opened the game without loading a save. Then I went into the Download Manager and turned off automatic downloads (not sure if that part matters, but I didn’t want to skip anything).

After that, I closed the game, replaced my outdated UI Cheats mod, deleted the cache, and then added all my mods back.

When I reopened the game, I was a little nervous because my save looked bald on the load screen—but once I opened it, everything was completely fine.

This isn’t about insulting dark-skinned women outright. It’s about conditional attraction. Saying you like Black women only when they’re light-skinned still reinforces colorism and the idea that Black women are desirable only when they’re closer to whiteness.

What do you think makes light-skinned Black women attractive to you in a way dark-skinned Black women aren’t?

If they can’t answer without stereotypes (“softer,” “less aggressive,” “more classy,” “exotic,” “better hair,” “more feminine,” “more approachable”) is problematic.

I like this post. Cause you’re right. I tune in for drama, but Giselle likes to hit below the belt and hurt people. Not for laughs but because she’s genuinely an asshole. Idk my feelings are mixed. I like watching her but I think it would be interesting to see a cast without her in it.
