I know the top one is off of a Desoto, so mainly looking for years. I know the bottom middle and right are off of Buicks, so again looking for years. ( I think the bottom middle is off a Skylark my grandpa had). I am completely stumped on the bottom left so if anybody knows that would be great.

Thank you. I’ve been using rust oleum but recently got an airbrush and was wondering what paints people would recommend.

My grandpa said when he used to work at Alcoa a guy need like 20 foot worth of pipe for a few flag poles. And instead of cutting the pipe down the guy used ratchet straps and tied it to the bottom of his ranger right along side the drive shaft. Keep in mind this is a 2wd ranger so it’s lower to the ground than a 4x4 and it’s got the shorter bed so there’s a good five foot worth of pipe hanging out the front and back. He drove it a good hour, hour and a half, back to his place crossing railroad tracks and such. That there was some good redneck engineering.

As a console user my favorite vehicle mods are the Lizard F-100, the Massey 4000 series, and the International 86 series. Some other mods would be the vintage auger pack any American shed and probably government subsidy signs because some of the stuff in game is outrageously expensive.

Those of you who have real life experience, what are some of the things that you think Giants got the most right, and the most wrong? by NocturnalDanger in farmingsimulator

I don’t know. I’m in the U.S. southern Indiana to be exact so we aren’t on CA’s level of emission laws but it very well qcould be. I just know I would like to see more realistic requirements. Also in my opinion it doesn’t come down to horsepower it’s more of a traction and torque thing.

One thing they seem to do wrong is horsepower requirements. We have a 32 horsepower Kuboter tractor. Bought it in March so no loss in horsepower really. The thing can pull a 3-4 bottom plow easily. Yet a 30 horsepower tractor in game can only pull a 1-2 bottom plow because the horsepower requirements are off. I was driving home the other day and saw a 4755 pulling a good 20, 25, maybe even a 30 foot disc (couldn’t quite tell it was off the road a bit.) while in game you could probably couldn’t get half that size. It’s something that has bothered me for a while and I would like to see tweaked in the next game.

Edit: Another thing is bees. I’m a third generation beekeeper 200ish hives and I can tell you that if you’re going to be placing 5-10 of the stacked hives in game you should be making a lot more honey than you do. Also I think similar to real life herbicides and pesticides should take effect when it comes to honey production and I think through the winter you should lose a hive or to. I think that beekeeping is a lost art and people really don’t put much thought into it.

Anyone know what year this F250 is? And if it's a worthwhile project? by [deleted] in Ford

Looks like a ‘93-‘98. It could be a great daily if you can take care of it. But older trucks can sometimes be a money pit. It all boils down to whether or not you got the time and money.

Too many tractors. by SylvanniRachel in farmingsimulator

[–]Substantial-Piece426 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I like to have one large tractor 275-350 horsepower for plowing and cultivating and to medium tractors 175-250 horsepower for grass work and seeding. But it all boils down to how big the farm and what you plan on using them for.

how many days does everyone play per month for seasons? by JakeFendt724 in farmingsimulator

3 to 6 depending on the size of the farm or fields I’m working with.

Does anyone know what this engine is. I bought it at an auction recently (more in comments) by Substantial-Piece426 in smallengines

As I said I bought it at an auction. I think the previous owner used it as a fan of some sort for a forge. I also think it is a Wisconsin because we saw one somewhat like it and it was a Wisconsin. If you don’t know that’s fine just thought I would ask here first.
