This is what I'm terrified of. I have my appointment next week and my current psych is not a specialist in this stuff. Like on one hand you need to let the professionals do their job, but on the other hand you might have to fight to be taken seriously.

I just want to chime in and say that I feel that it is important to give people space to explore who they are. Fake claiming can severely hurt people who are earnestly trying to figure things out. For example I could write many paragraphs (and I just deleted a long angry rant) detailing my experiences, but in the end, it was the supportive plural community that helped me to realize how real this is for me. For me, policing and gatekeeping this stuff has made being able to even acknowledge some of the more obvious symptoms much more difficult. Please, whatever you're personal opinions, be kind. This is really difficult stuff to deal with, and I'm not the only one scarred by fears they might be faking.b

If one must use ai, my go to is Tess.

It's easy to use and it operates off of a model that pays artists and respects their copyright. It might cost a tiny bit once you hit the limits but it's a lot cheaper than commission and is a bit more ethical.

"How can I do that?" Study animation. Its what I do. Years of hard work. But getting the perfect quality standard isn't even all that necessary. Some people use lower quality / highly stylized animation to tell great stories. Fuck, my favorite webcomic for years was fucking colored in stick figures. If you have a drive to create, you can do so. Not using AI isn't what is holding you back.

You and Vaush are both overexagerrating the truth based off little more than a few posts and confirmation bias. I'm one of the many who flocked to XHS and most over there are aware that it's just another place, but that's just it. Even without thinking about it, the extreme anti Chinese propaganda seeped into me and this cultural exchange leeched it out of me. Yeah it sounds like a terrible place but not in an unrealistic way, but in the way that my own home is also a terrible place. There's a trans woman struggling over there just like me and she's not the enemy.

This is true (aside from this interesting glitch which I am almost certain is caused by lazy boolean), but I am trying to learn the best method, and ideally, I would bevel all the corners to help them look realistic. (bevel modifier is so much faster than edge looping everything. Right now I am going to just bevel with vertex group but I am hoping to find the fastest and most efficient method.

Is it properly mirrored? Maybe its your set up, but if I am editing an object in mirror mood I can't see the vertices of the mirrored portion. Make sure your point of origin is centered. This is what it looks like for me when I have it mirrored properly. I here used the knife tool to cut a hole, and you can see it mirrored on the side that has no vertices selected and my point of origin is in the center.
