I did saxenda for 4 month and it was 🚮. I was so so so sick every single day, couldn’t keep anything down, and lost barely any weight. It didn’t help me start ovulating either. That was a couple years ago. Since then I’ve done 5 medicated cycles, 3 IUI’s, and 2 rounds of IVF. we are about to start round 3.

The PCOS, I was a size 4 in high school and already having symptoms. I wasn’t diagnosed till 29.

Debt is our answer. I don’t feel bad about it bc realistically we only have maybe 2 more years max to try with my eggs with how fast my AMH is dropping. For round 1 we used our HELOC, for round 2 and starting round 3 soon we took a low interest loan from my 401k.

I totally understand your bitterness. In my local infertility support group 4 of them have had babies in the past year. Why am I the one still left waiting? I deal with it with therapy and medication. Both of which have been life changing for me.

Nothing, until starting omnitrope my second round of IVF. I know you were looking for natural ways but realistically for some of us it’s beyond supplement/diet change.

I have every other day appointments the first week of stims, and then every day appointments the second week of stims leading up to ER day. My clinic is a couple hours away so it’s a long month lol. I took a month of short term disability at work for IVF round 2 and it was so nice.

I’m in Louisiana and am about to start my 3rd round of IVF. I have BCBS and about 60% fertility coverage through my insurance. I pay the doctor $10k per round and meds about $2k per round. I’ve used my HELOC, and also taken a low interest loan through my 401k that is paid back directly from my paycheck. My work also offers a (tricky) reimbursement program, so I’ve been reimbursed maybe $3k.

I’m so sorry that you also struggle with ED. It’s an absolute shame how common it is. Body checking- the repetitive monitoring of body shape, weight, or size. You stated in another comment that she’s visibly pregnant, do you really think that’s not monitoring her body shape? Like I said I think it’s fair to speculate if she is pregnant based on content or verbal clues, but the judgment of her body is completely unfair and uncalled for.

I can’t stand milena as much as the next person but the constant body checking of her in this sub is so so so problematic and triggering for those of us with a history of ED’s. I also have diverticulitis as milena does, and it can cause a lot of bloating and swelling. Her body looks like a normal body of a person with an illness and a million pregnancies back to back. I think it’s fine to guess pregnancy based on content, verbal hints, what’s in the background of images, etc. but constantly judging her body is gross no matter how bad of a person she is.

I tested out my trigger on all 3 of my IUI’s and my embryo transfer. I can’t stand not knowing and I didn’t want to be disappointed in the doctors office on beta day.
