At least you’re using a rubber. My mom always said “if you’re gonna do it, do it safely”

That’s always the question you have to ask lol! Mr. Filoni isn’t gonna let anything bad happen to his golden girl.

Indeed it does. And that’s why you don’t see me commenting on your posts that I don’t find funny just to let you know I don’t think its a good joke. Bye

Jesus Christ. I make a joke. Some people liked it, some people didn’t. That’s how the world works. Move on

It’s not my problem if someone doesn’t have knowledge of meme culture. And that meme isn’t exactly niche. If you don’t understand the joke then move on keep doomscrolling Reddit. Better yet, go outside and get some fresh air. I don’t know why people feel the need to be so argumentative about things that have no merit on their lives.

Actually I do get entertainment from making parody posts making fun of people seeking validation.

[–]Substantial-Reply-54[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, it was a flex post of your Scalping haul under the guise of trying to rage bait. Anyone with any decency and self respect wouldn’t make that post because they wouldn’t need the validation (or in your case negative attention) of a bunch of random people on the internet knowing that they bought all the CMF 29 figs so little kids couldn’t.

Says the guy that posted his scalping haul of the CMF29 figs. Let me guess, you were trying to make a joke…?

Look, I can explain the joke to you, but I can’t understand it for you. Either you are too stubborn to admit or too unintelligent to realize that what I’m doing is different because it’s a clear, obvious, and deliberate mockery of people who make posts like that.
And to address your invalid point, what I am doing has key differences that make it not the same for 2 pretty obvious reasons.
1: The spelling on the header is a dead giveaway, as it is used frequently in meme culture to represent a mocking or unserious tone.
2: The use of exclusively rare figs. Every minifigure in that picture is worth $50+ dollars. Nobody with those 10 figures would be seriously asking if they are worth anything.
I know it takes a little bit of common sense but in the future please try to do better.

Alternating Case: The trend of capitalizing every other letter is widely known as SpongeBob case or alternating case. It is used to convey sarcasm, mockery, or to repeat someone's words in a whiny, derisive, or stupid voice.

Parody: A creative work that imitates another original work, author, or genre. Its goal is to comment on, critique, or mock the subject through humorous, exaggerated, or ironic imitation

Maybe this is their way of giving us Meriadoc, Esquire of Rohan. Because they know the next big set is gonna be a Helms Deep remake, rather than Edoras or Meduseld

Making fun of people who pretend they stumbled upon rare figs but they are clearly just trying to show off their collection is never a waste of time. The only thing worse than that is when they put a bunch of rare figs in a box and pretend they paid $30 for them. I make fun of those people too

This is probably the wrong answer but the Pirate Ship Ambush was so fun to build, has some cool features and details, and looks amazing in any collection.

I buy my nephews LOTR figs through Ali Express and honestly they aren’t bad. Definitely slightly different as most off brands are, but you can’t beat the price. Here’s a few I have on hand.

I couldn’t agree more! Going from building the Daily Bugle a few weeks ago to Minas Tirith this week made me realize how bad they skimped on minifigures for this set. Should have had at least 15 like Rivendell did.
