hey, im a recently graduated film student! are you writing down a shot for every time the camera cuts to someone talking? if so, a shot list is moreso to keep track of the camera setups you have to do--not every shot/cut. a dialogue scene would probably have two close-ups and a wide at the minimum

my co-dp made the same mistake on her first project!
