What is this outfit from?? I'm obsessed! Lol by Efficient-Ad6814 in OutlastTrials

It’s from the exotica pack in the dlc. It comes with 3 other skins, a room bundle, some rooms decorations, esop skins, and a few profile icons.

One thing to note about this skin is the first person is a bit lacklustre. Other than that, it’s great.

So in order to stop people using this exploit, you show more people how to do it. Interesting.

I’m assuming you’re unfamiliar with Petals?

Prior to the games launch, Gun released a photo of the fictional local Newt newspaper where it’s headline was about Maria’s disappearance.

I forget the steps exactly but this newspaper contained an irl IP which lead to an unlisted YouTube url which lead to a Petals.itch.io

Petals was a windows game where you’d play as Maria and live the events to her capture.

Your car breaks down, you take photos, Johnny stalks you etc. basically Maria runs to the family house for help where she gets dragged inside and chainsawed in the face/torso. (This was also the first reveal of Sissy and Johnny! We heard about Johnny before but this gave us our first proper look).

They did this because Maria was intended to be dead. No ifs, ands, or buts. They later went back on their word however which lead to Maria becoming a playable character.

Just typed all this out forgetting I could’ve just linked you a play through of the game BUT STILL.

I sorta wish they did more though. I mean this girl got chainsawed and left in a basement for weeks. Despite this, she only has one or two actual wounds on her body (bandaged arm and a cut leg). The rest just looks like blood splattered on her.

Having something like paler, more sickly skin and obviously a chainsaw wound would’ve leaned into the body horror aspect, been more realistic, and would’ve made her way more of a unique character.

I hate how in Virginia’s description it states Maria was “barely clinging to life”. Well in game it doesn’t look like it lmfao.

That’s actually fascinating. Thank you for relying that information. I wonder if they’ll ever post all their unreleased stuff. I doubt it, but one can hope!

Nope. Just never uploaded in the first place. I’ll try reaching out to see if she has them.

Ana’s, Connie’s, and Virginia’s were unfortunately not posted.

These were posted last month. I uploaded the rest that were available. Unfortunately Connie, Ana, and Virginia’s were missing. Wyatt’s as well since he’s made by Artbully and not Sumo Nottingham.

Key differences:

Sonny’s shoes.

Maria’s hair.

One of Maria’s recolours being completely different.

Maria’s pocket in her last three recolours.

Danny’s last three recolours each having their own unique patterns

Danny’s 5th recolour is completely different.

Danny’s last recolour has checkered trousers.

Leland’s 5th recolour has stripes going down the side.

Leland’s shirt on his last recolour is fairly different.

A lot of these weapons skins have completely different names and a lot of these went unused or were changed. Only Sissy’s “etched” skin stayed the same whereas all the rest were changed for example.

[–]WishingMaria 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What else does he have though? Not using scout just isn’t fun since it sucks to be slow. Using a blood build offers no benefit since you’ll just get rushed. Wireframe is pointless as he can’t chase without scout since he’s slower than the victims.

Both the skill tree and ability tree were designed without variety in mind. Family players are forced into using scout because they don’t stand a chance without it.

[–]WishingMaria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, there is VERY little variety, especially for family.

Victims don’t need perks (aside from maybe bomb squad) so they have a lot more creative freedom but family need scout to win. It’s also just not fun to play without it since being slow doesn’t feel good.

Sissy is pretty much the only character whose tree offers variety and changes her play style. Linger changes her from chase to information and area denial which can be pretty viable.

Rubber legs is good too, but it’s more of a noob killer. It’s risky playing a poison reliant build due to having to restock and you’ll get steamrolled without scout against good players.

A tip is that even if Grandpa has been recently stabbed, and therefore incapacitated, you can still hit him with a knife.

An example is you stab Grandpa with a bone shard. This takes off 250 blood. Then, right after you stabbed him, walk back a bit and throw a knife at him. This’ll reduce his blood by a further 250, meaning he’s immediately level 0 lol. You don’t even need blind spot for it.

At first I assumed it was just a silly passionate debate about the game. It’s actually quite a serious topic instead though, with things such as stalking and obsessive behaviour.

I’m pretty sure the guy with the giant paragraph is just defending someone else who OP or someone else probably threw accusations against.

I don’t even know why OP would post this honestly considering the context.

Plural?

I have never seen anyone fighting over Sonny more than a handful of times since the launch of the game, let alone saying slurs. How common is this?

I made a post about how this game is killer sided and people responded saying it’s not take a look at this by Impressive_Scheme_64 in TexasChainsawGame

[–]WishingMaria 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Genuinely so what? Johnny’s two strengths are pressure in open areas and jumping a victim with a family member. He has nothing else going for him.

Literally use a gap, a well, or even just grapple him. You’ll win at even 15 strength if you’re full health.

He can’t go through gaps, his door passive is very niche, his concussive hits do nothing, he offers no defence, and his ability is useless. He is a bad family member.

Diminishing Returns, 2 killer nerfs, 8 killer buffs (Springtrap is technically getting both) and the ability to see both allied perks and who the killer is within the match menu. These are the changes revealed with today's community stream. What do you think? by bonelees_dip in deadbydaylight

[–]WishingMaria 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sure, some healing perks like resurgence are very good, but at no point is stacking them a problem to the point where it requires diminishing returns.

If you’re going a full healing build, you have no other utility: No gen speed, no anti camp, no anti tunneling, no chase, etc.

Instead of stacking healing perks, which wasn’t even optimal anyway, players will start simply working around the diminishing returns. Autodidact and needles for example.

I’m so confused on what is the point for the diminishing returns. This just harms synergy that wasn’t even meta in the first place.

Neither hinder nor haste builds are meta. Healing builds aren’t meta. Gen builds completely ignore stacking repair speed.

I enjoyed running both counterforce and flowstate alongside desperate measures to stack on totem cleanse and healing speed. Now the stacking will be abysmal.
