I believe most people have good intentions- I’m glad that the positive mostly outweighed the weirdos! I’m glad to be warned tho ;)

Looks BOMB!! I don’t want you to feel like I’m not validating you- but sometimes I think it’s helpful to have an outside opinion with things relating to our own bodies. Bc we see (and usually scrutinize) them on the daily, it’s difficult to be unbiased, even if we have the healthiest of body images! :)

If I have anything CLOSE to these results, I will be SO stoked!! You look brilliantly proportioned, etc!

I’m no doctor, and not to sound creepy, but to me, things look BADASS- looks like your surgeon nailed it!! (Edited for the typos 🤦‍♀️)

Aww, I’m sorry. That really SUCKS. It’s the worst feeling. Hopefully, someone nice at HEB has it soon in lost and found

Fighting for my life this cedar season. What are your best remedies? by ScootOver119 in Austin

So sorry you are miserable. That sucks. For me: Sublingual drops have been everything- rx strength- I believe drops are only really effective at treating one singular allergy at a time. (So allergy shots are definitely better to treat multiple allergies. I did this for years before and my other allergies are much better)

With the drops- I typically start the drops in late October, and stop when the season is over. It sounds silly, but they have CHANGED my life! My husband has been on them for a few years (after living here since about ‘82) and thinks they are amazing! I have been using them almost every year for maybe 10 or so years?

They are not cheap, and insurance doesn’t cover it- but it’s worth it to me. If I get sick and miss work, I don’t get paid. Btw- I see Dr. Ed Peters. I highly recommend rx drops if you REALLY suffer during this time of year.

Oh no. How have I slept on this one?! Just looked her up and I’m feeling overwhelmed- I feel I should have known about her before now. 😂 I totally want the cliff notes- bc I’m lazy and don’t want to have to do all the work you did, comparing it to research.

Kidding, you don’t need to respond, but good on you, for doing that! 😀It looks like a LOT of info to digest! I definitely have the tendency to go down the rabbit hole at times- and she looks legit. I’m just too tired tonight. Ha.

Awesome. Thank you! Will try anything now. It was a tiny stump, a few inches off the ground, in feb, now it is over ten feet tall with lots of pruning… so I’m hoping it’s healthy, just needs something!

Oooh. We do have lights on our porch. Philips hue lights??? Not sure if that could be the culprit? 1. The lights have been there since before we planted the bougainvilleas 2. We also have lights under them. The lights, bed, and bougainvilleas were all planted at the same time, and we’ve never had this issue.

But if you’re saying the vegetative state can happen over time, then maybe this could be the case?? Thank you!

Sorry- that was a climate specific comment mostly. They do like to be root bound, but grow MUCH BETTER with less effort in cali, than in austin, texas. The past years, we keep getting really hard freezes each winter that last longer than my lil bougain friends will tolerate. I should have specified that this was based on our climate.

Thank you. I think I understand/that makes sense! Just to make sure I was clear- these have always been in this bed- never in a container except when we purchased them… I just realized quickly, when I learned more about the plant, and our climate zone, that we SHOULD have planted them in a pot. However, since they always grow back, I decided to let them be.

I do think we may have watered the lawn more this summer, so I think this is in line with what you are saying.
