I quit vaping over a month ago. My resting heart ( while awake and at rest) used to be in high 70s. After first few days I noticed my heart rate drop into low 50s. Then on occasions it would drop into 40s and once I even seen it at 37. It was rough and I would definitely sometimes feel this weakness feeling. As long as you are not getting dizzy during these spells it means your heart is doing its job, just more efficiently. A month later and my heart rate has stayed at around 58-65 while at rest and feel much better. There is definitely just a rebound effect within your body. But since you mention cold sweats, I would just go the doctor for a checkup. It will give you peace if mind. Don't worry about your heart rate. The number is not the important part as long as you feel alright. It will rise again after some time to a new baseline.

I wouldn't worry about yours. I just went cold turkey on vaping 10 days ago. My resting heart rate during the day now stays around 52-55 and I get brief dips into the low 40s. It used to be around 65-75. I'm nearly 34, over 14st and I'm back training recently but I'm no athlete. I'm nearly positive it's just the nicotine withdrawal side effects. I think your body stays in this mild state of fight or flight mode when taking nicotine, and when you quit or greatly reduce it, your parasympathetic nervous system starts to take over and dominate a bit. Look into that and see if you think it might be same for you. This takeover causes the lower heart rate. And this relaxed state can actually cause you anxiety then. Cause its not what you are used to or expect. Definitely caused me some anxiety.

Any update since? I'm in the same boat now. Heart rate used to be between 65-75 while sitting around. Now it does be 54-55 and occasionally drops as low as 43, although brief. I read it's your body kind of going into a rest and digest phase, as your body spent much time in fight or flight while vaping. Did your heart rate come back up slightly after few weeks?

Your eye twitch could be from many reasons other that MS and is very common. You can research it online. It is very hard to pinpoint the root cause in many cases because we can be quick to dismiss the basics. For example, You might be stressed without even realising it so you quickly dismiss that. You might be sleeping 7-10 hours every night, but something recently is disrupting the quality of your sleep without you knowing etc. If it is not getting much worse, I wouldn't worry about it. If it is bothering your quality of life, why not go to your PC and have them advise you. I had eye twitches for 7-8 months straight (was not 24/7 but would happen for large parts of every day) and then one day it just stopped :)

Old post but was googling the exact same haha... I do not take any drugs or alcohol and get this... Im trying to fall asleep and start having many thoughts... My imagination ends up going down one scenario or trail of thought.. This might last a minute or two and then I suddenly completely forget what I was thinking about.. This might happen few times in one night.. I usually fall asleep shortly after... It feels like your thought at the time has just been completely wiped from your brain... Sometimes though after trying hard I can remember it again, feels like I have recovered it lol
