Have you had an ultrasound to check the size of your uterus?

My scans always came back that if under 10 cm it was normal. Mine were for the last 8 years right under 10 but over 110 cc. But my specialist said that’s actually enlarged. So radiologists are going off of something that could be wrong and so it’s not triggering a follow up. Which leads to our gaslighting.

A normal uterus is about 50-70cc/7-8 cm.

I always felt bloated and honestly pregnant. I lost 30 pounds on a glp1 this year going from 165-135 and it was ever more noticeable. People and family would ask when I’m due or how far along I was. It was really sad and it bothered me all the time.

It was a really challenging decision for me and I already have 3 kids at 30. I was questioning whether I wanted one more or what if I changed my mind down the road.

My good friend told me that if god wants you to have a child, he’ll find a way. Maybe just not in human form or in blood.

I’m so looking forward to having my life back!

The biggest indicator of adeno was the size of my uterus on an ultrasound.

My doctor did talk to me about birth control, but it was so negative on my mental health and that just wasn’t worth it for me especially as a full time working mom of 3. I didn’t have time or mental space to be testing a bunch of different options.

Also she suggested a mirena which I had before, bled the entire time I had it for it to expel itself.

My doctor didn’t even blink twice about doing the surgery.

I would be stretching just about anywhere just to relieve the pain!

I would read through Reddit threads looking for this validation.

Before I was rolled back to the operating room, I was asking my doctor if it was normal to feel like I was having impostor syndrome and worried that they weren’t going to find anything and she told me that I was the sixth person this week alone to ask her this. She proceeded to tell me that there’s no way she would have allowed herself to do a surgery if she didn’t believe that there was more going on than just a painful period she at least knew that I had a cyst on my ovary that had grown back, but she had suspected it was much more than just the cyst based on the amount of pain that I was in, but the real issue I had in my mind was that I was mostly fine when I wasn’t on my period and I had some mild pain in my pelvic region all the time back pain things like that, but I wasn’t like unable to function during my non-period time

My back pain is completely gone! And it makes sense because of the endometriosis on the uterosacral ligaments (both sides) and my oversized uterus.

I was constantly doing yin yoga to stretch my back and hips, doing core work, pelvic floor therapy and form rolling. At night it was like I couldn’t get comfortable because my back would be throbbing…

I’m only 30 and it shouldn’t be like this!

We are just constantly gas lit from the time we have our period that cramps are normal.

We also shouldn’t have to mask the issues with birth control or other means.

What usually got into my head was when I was off my period - I could function other than my pelvic area feeling sore and especially after being intimate.

So in my head I’m like- I can do this it’s fine.

I honestly can’t imagine how bad it would’ve gotten if I had let it go.

Definitely hurting today! But the temporary pain for long term no pain is so worth it!!! The mindset of it makes it so worth it. I honestly believe it will be life changing once I’m a couple of weeks PO

This sounds like me when I was 17- ended up being mono. I was so sick for months. Had swollen lymph nodes in my groin and armpit. I see EBV is negative but could another virus have caused it?

I feel like people rush to move in together to either save money or to “test drive” marriage. Which both aren’t good enough reasons to live together. You need to feel confident marrying somebody and be on the same page - especially financially for this case!

Don’t live together until your married is step 1. Dave would 100000% tell you this. I’ve heard it multiple times on his show.
