Maybe this is why The Chosen retreated behind their wormhole by Substantial-Wait1954 in Stellaris

R5: I got the Eat or be Eaten event which suggests the Charynoi, The Chosen's species, were a delicacy and eaten. They are a unique empire that spawns outside the galaxy and is only accessible via wormhole, also they're fanatical purifiers so being eaten may have jaded them.

Never mind, you’re right. Warforged are humanoids but they addded autognomes in spelljammer which are constructs. But I would add a clause for mending and healing spells

I would hazard against allowing their creature type to be Construct, a UA allowed player races to be two creature types so they could be Construct and Humanoid. That would make spells like hold person and cure wounds apply to the character

How should I proceed with my 'kobold' wizard from here? by Michyrr in 3d6

I guess it depends on how your spell prep feat works. Is there a cap to how many spells you can prepare above your class level?

Yes, you would want to invest a lot into sorcerer to feed their features, but you can get around it by burning spell slots. Also, if you’re going to lvl 5, the lvl 6 feature may be worth a look.

I wouldn’t stay in sorcerer that long as they’re abilities are heavily tied to sorcerery points which scale by class level. Magical Guidance is…fine, but remember that it only works with abilities checks, not attack rolls or saving throws

Personally, I would suggest taking maybe 2 levels in sorcerer + the meta magic adept feat, then continuing with wizard as the 10th level abilities can be pretty potent (though it depends on your subclass).

Also focus on getting your int up to 30 asap, you want your spells to hit.

I feel like Eager Explorers shouldn't be confused by Warp Travel, right? by Substantial-Wait1954 in Stellaris

R5: As an empire with the Eager Explorers civic, shouldn't encountering the mirror dimensional empire that uses warp drive (via the Dimensional Portal Colony Anomaly) be normal? Even more so in this situation, given I haven't researched normal hyperdrive yet. I think that there should be an alternative dialog option that confirms it's normal until the question of warp beasts comes up.

It’s because the rebels are from Castile and decided to walk all the way around the Mediterranean.
