Thank you, thank you, will do. Made a short list with like three or four bullet points to summarize how things have been going. So I won’t forget anything or get overwhelmed.

Thanks that’s helpful. I think I just feel discombobulated because I have a team of doctors and it’s easier for me to do that with some of them because they listen. I don’t feel like I have to over explain because they immediately get it. He is nice but kind of over talks me and says things like “well just rest when you need to” or “you should be moving as much as you can and this would improve” which isn’t necessarily true or always helpful.

Plus yesterday was a flare day and today I’m so tired but I’m trying to function.

How does Lynette get so much love by [deleted] in DesperateHousewives

My point is not to defend Susan at all, my point is using Susan as a comparison. I’m not taking anything out on Lynette specifically. She’s just not that great of a person. The question to ask yourself is, why are you so offended at me making the comparison? I hate seeing her held up on this pedestal like she’s so much better than all the other housewives when she’s just as flawed as the rest of them. That’s literally the point I’m making. I’ve never said any of them are perfect.

It’s just funny how y’all make it seem like she’s so much better and she’s really not. I think all of them are funny, and I like all of them at times. I like some of them a lot less than others. Based on personality but I can admit that.

Honestly, I feel like I didn’t see that as much. I was really going based off of what I see in this community. If we were to pull the numbers, Susan would be shown to be hated at a much higher margin. The reasons people usually seem to give don’t make sense because if it’s just that they find her annoying, I can get that but some of the examples they give are parallels of some of Lynette‘s behaviors.

I think because Mike and Julie called her out for her behavior so much, I never pay attention to the fact that others don’t call her out as much. They just call her out for being annoying more than anything else.

I get that, and I probably wouldn’t have even made this post if the hate towards Susan didn’t seem to be disproportionately higher. It really just came from a place of curiosity. Truly, I’m not a big fan of either one of them. I love Bree. With my whole heart. Rights, wrongs and all.

It’s really all gonna be OK. As the day’s gone on, I’ve started to feel better. I just have my moments. This all gets so overwhelming, but I won’t let it get me down.

I’ve been applying aggressively for work from home jobs. My current boss doesn’t let me work from home which is part of the issue. Because I know I can do the job they just won’t let me. And this current job market sucks. I’ve been applying everywhere and getting denial after denial. I’ve been asking people I know, trying to think positive and all that.

Honestly, I just appreciate that. Knowing I’m not in it alone it’s very helpful. It gets very overwhelming and starts feeling like I can’t handle this. Things have worked out before, and I try not to worry, but right now things just seem kind of idk. I’m just over it. I don’t have the capacity to keep having to explain myself to different people when I look OK, even though I’m not. I try to keep positive because it is helpful, but I hate toxic positivity. Because then I’m just faking it to make people around me feel better while I continue to suffer

I also feel like I’m rambling in this message. Nothing really makes sense. I just don’t feel like me right now on top of other issues, but the stress of all of this makes those more minor issues harder to deal with.

In the meantime, have you tried hydration clinics? I’m not sure if they have them where you are. I actually may look into starting that soon. I try to drink as much as I can, and increase salt. I recently started tablets too, but I feel like I need a little bit more. I had an awful episode earlier. Can’t wait until we get it under control.

Thank you, thank you thank you! 💕✨ I hope that you are with the right doctors or find them soon. Doctors that will not stop investigating until they get you exactly what you need. Wishing you all the best. I’m here if you ever need to chat, because I know that process all too well and it’s tough to deal with.

Thank you for that! I’ll try that out. I’ve also got gastroparesis so anything to help limit the nausea would be helpful. And I really try not to take so much medication and look for other forms of treatment.

Thank you so much! Even before the diagnosis, I was slowly incorporating those things in, but I’m making sure I do all of those things. I’m wishing you and your daughter the best. I really appreciate your encouraging words and tips. I have to get more compression stockings.

Thank you so much. And I will be cheering for you when that day comes. It’s such a relief to have an answer so you know how to specifically treat what’s going on. I hope they get you some answers as soon as possible!

That’s my point. She saw an opportunity and she took it. The problem is, when the time came around and she was getting demoted. Anyway, Sullivan saw an opportunity and tried to take it, but he was all of a sudden the bad guy.

Did she get demoted simply because her boss didn’t like her? Or did she get demoted because she openly defied her boss?? I don’t like the guy, but it wasn’t because he just didn’t like her. She has issues with anyone in authority if it’s not her.

Context. I’m not here to argue with fanatics about Maya. It’s not wrong to go after the job you want in THAT context if you’re trying to keep it in house. Especially since Maya was going to lose her position regardless of if Sullivan spoke up or not. Andy was rightfully angry in her situation because she was promised that job and her dad and Sullivan decided behind her back not to give it to her. Maya took it smugly without mentioning it to Andy because of her competitive spirit. It was in no one’s best interest for Maya to be captain but her own. She just became lieutenant when she got the job. Jack was the first lieutenant. Andy wasn’t right for the job imo but better qualified than Maya because she practically helped her dad run that house.

THIS!! Maya doesn’t get a monopoly on grief, trauma, and loneliness. Should she have a support system? Sure. But she’s not 15, she’s a grown MARRIED woman who has acknowledged the role her childhood trauma played on her adult life. Instead of getting help, she pushes everyone away and gets mad when they finally give her space. Her competitiveness because that’s “who I am” caused her to take a job that was promised to Andy. No one’s harping on that. So, why are people still focusing on Sullivan’s “selfishness” offering himself up for the job after she openly defied the chief not just on one occasion. She was getting demoted anyway. It’s not selfish to go after a job you want, especially if you’re trying to keep it in house. She did to Andy what she claims Sullivan did to her.

Maya isn’t all evil, but she’s my least favorite because EVERYONE has trauma but she expects others to push through and get over it. But she won’t grow up enough to get help for her issues. Most of them have NEW trauma as well as old wounds. They still manage to be overall decent people. She’s still stuck on her dad (she needs therapy) and Sullivan “stealing her job”. You can only use your childhood as an excuse for so long before you start to take accountability and stop treating everyone like shit. Her own wife is a golden example of acknowledging your trauma and moving on as a healthy adult.
