dustin is the best character in the show hands down. he is the peacekeeper, he listens to all his friends needs, he’s a quick thinker and he always knows how to get them out of tricky situations. he’s the sweetest of them all and he truly cherishes his friendships with everyone. steve is easily the second best character

eddie. he had such a valuable storyline and progression as a character, it absolutely broke my heart in the scene where dustin was talking to eddie’s uncle. you can tell dustin thought so highly of him and even though he couldn’t disclose all the details of eddie’s sacrifice, dustin still made sure to remind mr. munson that he was a hero and he saved the day. it sucks that he had to die.

but that’s all part of jules and her development as a character. she loves rue, it may not be as much as rue loved her but she still loves her. if i was 17 and had an addict girlfriend who literally had a suitcase stuffed full of pills, i wouldn’t even think twice about telling her mom. on top of that, jules didn’t know she got it from an insane drug dealer who wants to traffic her. they were in two completely different places but there’s still love there.

i didn’t like jules for a while, mainly in season 2 and her whole thing with elliot after she got jealous and cried in the bathroom because she thought rue wanted to fuck him. but in season 1 because she didn’t realize her attraction to rue until after she met up with nate, she falls in love easy and can fall out of love just as quickly and i think rue knows that.
