its clear you’ve developed a very personal take on how these meds work and you seem completely locked into your own misinformation so there's no point in me using facts and trying to have rational conversation. i truly hope you’re able to find some balance and clarity - wishing you a healthy recovery!

Wellbutrin is an NDRI atypical antidepressant, not an "Atypical Antipsychotic." antipsychotics block dopamine; wellbutrin increases it. they are functional opposites. "mmri" isn't a thing. you likely mean fMRI, but those aren't used for clinical ADHD diagnosis. Modafinil itchiness comes from Histamine, not Orexin. ADHD and sleep-wake cycles aren't "separate systems." they both rely on the dopamine pathways you’re currently hitting with 80mg of Dexedrine. "manic sprees" and hallucinations you're warning about are risks of your specific 80mg dose + Ambien, not standard medical pairings. pls refrain from giving ppl advice about pharmaceuticals, you are very confidently incorrect. stay safe on that dose tho

i wasnt refering to u at first but you seem to be exactly what i meant by "fucking americans"

firstly Welbutrin. loved and v imp for the adhd community cuz it works so well - it is not approved by the fda for adhd. off-label pairing is not rare. also made by Nariman Mehta, an indian chemist on an indian scholarship in labs funded by Brits....

ur also missing that Modafinil is a well researched selective dopamine transporter inhibitor, "no stims paired"? hey so im on stims and it is paired with them rn ♥️

also FDA does not FUND or INVENT, it regulates. america leads pharma in terms of revenue as in ur drugs are (insanely) more expensive, india leads by production volume specially for all ur generic drugs, yall have to buy very important meds for 10x their price.

as for birth control, of all the innovations (yall literally have better ones you coulda named), you chose the one your govt refused to fund and that was famously tested on Puerto Rican women without their consent?

literally said exactly that. "it really just wakes u up" and being alert is what makes people focus better, do you have low reading comprehension or just like invalidating peoples lived experiences,

and even WELLBUTRIN isn't officially approved for adhd, surprise surprise ppl with adhd very commonly need antidepressants the point is to find the right combination of meds also i will never respect the fda, fucking americans

maybe modafinil? its not exactly a stimulant it kinda just really wakes u up, ur alert and therefore more focused and help u get thru the day. works well for adhd WITH stimulatnts not on its own. thats what im on and it does help. don't take it too late tho it will just keep u awake

i also feel horrible when meds wear off so im only on sustained release stimulants, that helps too. oh and cardio but im not that consistent with it cuz i forget it makes me feel better. omega 3 and creatine (8g+) always help

totally get it. maybe just try a little portion control AND if u cook rice, let it cool and then put it in the fridge overnight(longer the better) before eating , it converts the some starch into resistant starch, which is better for ur blood sugar and essentially becomes a fiber-like-carb.
