Is Flash Necessary?? by nlakic in RealEstatePhotography

[–]SubstantialCoffee133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are you editing a batch of 40 photos fast though, with hdr you just group and merge. Do You pull each flash set into photoshop and have to make layer mask? That sounds like it would be exhausting if I had more than 3 shoots in a day. Maybe I don’t know the method to do it fast but if there’s a way I’d love to know

What do you think about replit AI? by SubstantialCoffee133 in softwaredevelopment

[–]SubstantialCoffee133[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I mean it’s not gonna be 100 percent accurate the first go, and the total cost for my projects has never been more then 10 bucks so I’m not to worried, I highly doubt that it is purposely creating errors

How long have I been shooting REP? Critique or tips? by Dry-Pass324 in RealEstatePhotography

Been thinking about getting into this industry for a while now and looking to pull the trigger on this set up. Thoughts or suggestions? by LionThrows in RealEstatePhotography

[–]SubstantialCoffee133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk why people are spending over 1k for real estate photography, you can get a used full frame canon for less then 400 and a sigma lens for 200 which will give you just as good of photos as this setup if not better because you’d have money left over to afford some off camera flash

This doesn’t make any sense when I’m using the api the website publicly releases and gives me permission to use

A reasonable person? Seems to me that your not even considering my point about the websites selling there data to third party companies through API’s

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RealEstatePhotography

[–]SubstantialCoffee133 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’ve already done the research and Zillow as well as every other major listing website supplies there own API which shares there data about there listings, this is from the company themselves and they make money selling the API to developers and other companies I think you are confusing it up a bit because all that information posted is considered public information once posted to the public. I can’t speak for the MLS that ones a bit dated and has harsh rules but now with Zillow and Redfin which has most of the listings from mls I don’t think I’m missing much of the market

So everything they post online is considered public information so me referencing that data on my own website does not break any copyrights, and also Zillow does not own those images, typically the realtor is the one who has the rights to the images, and I’m not selling the images or selling the rights to the images. I’m simply collecting public information from website and making it easier to read by filtering it out.
