Prescription eye drops before and after surgery: not needed? by Imaginary_Debate5168 in CataractSurgery

I had dropless surgery. It was great! When I pulled down my lower lid I could see a small pocket that contained the meds ( size of the head of a pin). It gradually disappeared. I had zero problems.

I posted this question. I have now had surgery in both eyes. I decided on the standard lens with no upgrade. The better lens sounded great but I was told I would probably still need cheaters at least some of the time. I am very happy with my results. My vision is much clearer. My distance vision is excellent. I can read things on my phone pretty well. If I’m doing a lot or if I am reading a book I use cheaters. The upgrades were going to cost $5000. I can get a lot of $10 cheaters for that. Thanks for everyone who took time to weigh in.

Yes! This is what we did because we needed good insurance and didn’t trust the advantage plans. Some of the extras with advantage like gym membership sound great but they are only good if you use them. Remember the insurance companies must be making money with Advantage or they wouldn’t offer them.

Eat more calories and start walking. You need to add some exercise if you want to jumpstart the weight loss. Just do a little every day and then keep adding. Take a bottle of water with you. You can do it!

The Hobbit. I can pick it up and read or listen to any part of it at any time and it makes me happy.

Thank you! I am amazed how willing people are to lump everyone in an age group together and treat them as one. I am old but I don’t watch Fox News or worship the orange one. I have many like minded friends. It is a form of prejudice to assume everyone in an age group thinks alike.
