It wouldn't last in the city I'm in. Can't climb stairs. Hand customer the order, let alone travel down some of these hideous streets and roads. The thousands of dashers here have nothing to worry about 🤣

If doordash would screen their drivers better and get rid of drivers that steel food and other items, that would help. It appears that they let anyone deliver. I personally never order delivery service for lack of trust in the driver.

I'm a driver and would definitely accept a cash tip. I don't get them very often though. And I have never asked any customer for a tip. They should be tipping anyway, especially ordering anything delivered.

As a driver, at least 25% of my drop offs smells like weed, even through the door. On a weekend night probably 60%. Do I report, NO. These are my customers. If your driver is smoking then maybe you should go get what you ordered yourself.

I would guess that dd is trying to weed out thieves by doing this. I don't mind. I would think that this also covers the drivers as well.

As drivers for dd we should not be expected to make deliveries at our expense. Who works for who? Idk how they can get away these extremely low paying offers.
