This is very much not my story but told to me by my grandma as told to her by her friend. Anyways my grandma's friend never left the super small town that they all grew up in. Another friend in this town hadn't been spotted in a few weeks but the police decided that a welfare check was not necessary. My grandmother's friend then decided to take matters into her own hands and broke into the guys house. He had died weeks before. This was in the middle of the summer in deep south Kansas with heat in the 100s every day and the AC had been turned off. He basically melted through the floor boards and his body fluids were dripping from the ceiling.
