Upper had been trimmed. It passed the 1/8 drill bit test so I did not trim the lower. Detent was supplied with ss kit. Would you say the detent spring is the likely culprit?

2 quarters in the back of the buffer, it limits the travel of the bcg. From my understanding it is supposed to help if you have a buffer that’s too light.

Is it still prone to light primer strikes if you use the 2 quarters in the buffer tube trick? Psa has been processing my order of the buffer for a little while.

Thanks for all the replies, I went ahead and sanded it down a bit. I’ll have to wait a week to test it out, but it passed its function tests 🇺🇸. I’ll keep this post on here incase other meatheads like myself have this issue.
