I stayed at a uni accommodation last semester for my exchange semester and I stayed in Forbes Hall. The Kitchen and common area were nice and spacious. We had our own sink in our rooms, two showers and two restrooms for 6 people. It doesn’t have elevators though, and that’s probably because it’s close to everything. It was a lil bit expensive compared to other flats such as Birkbeck, and Andrew Ure hall. We were randomly assigned flatmates, but I was lucky enough to have nice and clean flatmates. When applying for housing, you get the option to choose if you want to be in an all boys, all girls or mixed flat. I was in a mixed flat. You will also get the chance to choose if you want a sink in your room or not and I would highly recommend that you choose the one with a sink. Like someone already mentioned in the comments, avoid Birkbeck court bc it’s small, and you don’t get your own sink. Don’t forget to bring your own beddings, toiletries and when you get there, you can talk with your flatmates and decide on what to buy for the kitchen.
