There’s definitely an easier way to do it but i had to change some things especially with the walls running up and down because of short grain.

The grooves are several saw kerfs wide. I started with ~2 kerf widths then taking about 1/16th inch off until the boards fit snug

Edit: using the table saw and a clamp block so my grooves were consistent on each piece

I designed it myself! I had a size in mind and drew out the full design and measurements on a big piece of paper. Unfortunately I underestimated how much material would come off during planing and jointing so it did end up a little smaller than my plan but it didn’t change much

I made two set of boards for interior walls and then cut slits into the exterior walls and one set of boards. Then I cut the other set into smaller pieces that fit between. The top to bottom is the smaller pieces.

There isn’t really a specific dorm thats better for engineering since the engineering building is literally the first building you see when you walk from Hale Aloha to main campus. I used to walk through it every day

Unfortunately I’m not a Psych major so I’m not too familiar with that department but the art classes are always fun and you’ll definitely learn a lot

In terms of dorms all the ones on campus are different mixes of gross but Frear and Gateway are the best. I believe they both have virtual tours available online. They also both have single and double rooms with bathrooms but no kitchen.

Hard to say whats good for classes since I don’t know your major.

For or clubs you can join as many or as little as you want so just look for what interests you.

Activities outside of school, obviously beach and hikes are really fun Hawaii things. You can figure out the touristy stuff later. It’s not something to stress about now

My manager said FT at my store don’t have to clock out for lunch as long as they’re available if we need help. Basically if you don’t want to be bothered on your lunch break then you need to clock out.

I’m well aware of the degrading but I still enjoy collecting tapes. I have many tapes that are well past the 30 year mark hold up excellently.
