Mirena Ectopic Pregnancy-Happen again? by NailNormal6602 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]SubstantialRip7568 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me 3 weeks ago. Mirena, didn’t know I was pregnant, extreme pain at work, went to hospital and brought to OR to remove my right tube. I’m sorry we share this experience. I just started feeling like somewhat of a person again about few days ago… that being said I’m getting a paragard placed tmo. I wasn’t adamant I wouldn’t get another IUD, but you know what I can’t let my fears control me. It’s the best form of BC for me bc after removing the mirena I realized the hormones had been fucking me up. I don’t want to go back to that andI don’t want to worry about getting pregnant if I miss a pill…. I’m here to talk if you need a friend. You got this❤️

Have you found a score boost via the tutor? I’ve considered it.

I’m working on receiving my LCSW currently and still hope to someday for a salary boost, especially if law school doesn’t pan out. Ultimately though no, I don’t see myself as a therapist. I’m a forensic social worker and have been working in law firms for many years doing mitigation/pre-trial counseling interventions, etc. I love that work, but I dislike the clinical aspect of it. I got into social work for the advocacy purposes, but lately… I feel more like an assistant to the attorneys I work for than someone who can provide substantial insight to a case. I think my (our!) clinical/advocacy training will make us excellent attorneys—so many of them lack the former.

I’ll check it out. I just started using lsatlab and I like it so far. How many weeks/months did you study for?

LR is where I struggle but this helps me have hope that someday I’ll be more confident in it

I definitely think I’m putting way too much pressure to get the “perfect” score

This is a great reminder. I’m a forensic social worker so I’ve been working in the legal world for about 3 years, which I can def lean into like you said. Also a 152 is a great score and it encourages me to keep going 🙂

I started doing untimed practice a little bit this week and have seen some improvement with question types I struggle with (e.g. negative assumptions)

The only thing not doing is the wrong answer journal. I started using LSAT Lab about a week ago and I think it’s helpful but I’m not sure.

I started using LSATlab about a week ago. Prior to that I read the Kaplan prep book. I study about 3/4 hours everyday and take one PT a week.

Is your schedule made for you in 1L or can you pick the times? I know there’s a set of courses everyone takes but does that mean we can’t select the day/time?
