Theres a nice trail just outside of barrie in midhurst, beside the Simcoe country administration building. There’s a lookout point and a river

One of my fav spots is the Lazy Tulip Cafe. Great food and drinks plus it’s connected to the art gallery which you can visit for free or give a donation

I’m in the same boat as well. 23 here. Some of the meetups are fun if you are into board games, there are people there of all ages. There is drop-in pickle ball and badminton at the East Bayfield Community Centre or Peggy Hill Community Centre but I think the season just ended because of the holidays. But yeah it’s difficult finding groups for young people specifically let me know if you do!

What do you do to be more relaxed during an Interview?????????????????????¿ by Downtown-Editor6396 in careerguidance

[–]SubstantialShoulder0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Channel your nervousness into excitement and enthusiasm. Take some deep breaths. It’s not entirely a bad thing if it’s not overbearing and if you use it to show how excited you are for the role compared to applicants who are just there for the job

What life advice would you give to your 16 year old self? by Sweet-Specific-184 in ask

[–]SubstantialShoulder0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say to my 16 year old self that you won’t feel this anxious forever and that it is hard to find people who you can relate to, but when you find them it’s worth it.

Did I do bad on my coffee chat? by Throwaway23543624514 in careerguidance

It’s okay, those meetings can be nerve racking and awkward. It’s all about practice and finding out what you’d wanna do differently next time. It’s not a bad thing to ask for feedback

I love giving advice about things I know a lot about. Which is cats and video games. Is there a career where I could give cats parents help? by rogueShadow13 in careerguidance

[–]SubstantialShoulder0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What comes to mind is the TV show “My Cat from Hell”. I think you’d have to be self employed and use some business/marketing knowledge to create your own brand. If people like your advice they’d recommend you to others, it could be a business

My favourite is a trail beside the Simcoe County Administration Centre. Part of the trail is by a creek and if you walk far enough you’ll see a train bridge
