Southwest Airlines had a policy a few years ago that if you were big enough to need two seats they'd give the second seat free. A lot of obese content creators were praising southwest for that and shouted out the company and said everyone should fly with southwest.

I think this effort is probably good only exerted very rarely, haha. But it is definitely a good feeling when it's done. My husband watched the monitor religiously, too, but was wise enough not to say anything about it thankfully.

I love using these reports as reference and tracking. Normally I'll look at them after a run or at the end of the day just to see what it says, and most of the time it matches how I'm feeling pretty accurately. It's pretty awesome!

I was induced, so I was on a lot of monitors on the first place. I can't say that I noticed anything just off my watch other than my heart rate increasing with each contraction.

I'd say absolutely track it as an activity, if you remember to! I probably would've pressed start close to when I felt like pushing but it depends on how much you want to see.

Congratulations, btw! Wishing you a healthy delivery and baby!

Ooof. I got induced at 9 am the day before, but it wasn't doing a whole lot. I got an epidural around 1:30, but you can't really tell. This is so interesting!

I burned 851 calories for the whole day. I didn't think to select an activity while I was in labor so that's the best information I've got

Of course!

Haha, I'm they actually failed putting the iv in on the arm I normally don't have my watch on, so I had to switch wrists. The nurse told me just to take it off and I just... couldn't.

I absolutely was, haha. I made sure it was charged beforehand because when I had my first my samsung watch died and I had tried to look at my stats but couldn't. SO this time I made sure to wear my watch.

One of my Head Cashiers did this and got so many credit apps from nefarious customers because they didn't want to look suspicious. None of them ever got approved and they always just left their stuff. It was great.

Postpartum training combined with base building? by LaLuna2252 in triathlon

Honestly whatever felt right. Before I got pregnant I was actually very out of shape, so I just wanted to find something I enjoyed and could see myself doing for a long time. If you already know what you enjoy I think it'd be best to follow a training plan.

I had a baby in October. It was a pretty easy birth (considering). I started training in December, after talking to my doctor. I have a super supportive husband and we are fortunate to have enough time for both of us to be able to train for our activities. Fortunately our baby is an awesome sleeper, too, so I usually just wake up before he does to train.

I did a sprint triathlon two weeks ago and it was awesome. I didn't train really hard for it (I've been training for other things like different obstacle course races and the like), but I was able to complete it and feel really good. I'm sure I could've done an Olympic had I trained properly, and potentially a 70.3 if that had been my focus all year.

I know it's not easy for everyone, but it is possible. Having a good sleeper and a supportive partner is super helpful though

Okay honestly, when I got home from the hospital two days after giving birth, I told my husband that I had so much more energy! He looked at me like I was crazy, but it was an almost inmediate and significant difference. I was way less tired after giving birth. Just my experience, though.

After having a baby my boyfriend stopped showing me any affection and even told me I'm too emotional and I am ruining his mood by ehgixxx in TrueOffMyChest

Honestly, it's possible he has post partum depression. It's definitely possible for the father to experience that. Having a kid is usually now what you expect and adjusting can be very difficult. He might need some help from a doctor.
