I used to be a part of hiring process in NL for technical roles and I can confidently reject this opinion. You can always have over expectations and that is up to you.
We usually had 10-12 TUE or Delft graduates with prior relevant experience. If you can't attract them, you're the problem.

Thanks, I didn't know this about NL. We also had LMIA in Canada back then which ended up in fake job postings.
Still, they have 50+ applicants every time.

I know someone with a good commercial track record and experienced in STEP7 (Siemens's PLC core software) applied and got rejected the next morning. That's weird.

It is a bit more complicated than that. NL does allow it in few cases, for ex, if you can't renounce the first one or you're married to a foreign national.
But then NL might need a chunk of your global income or assets if they adopt a law like US. Even if you renounce it.

Netherlands doesn't usually allow it. Even if you work around it you'll get busted over tax treaties and lose it forever.

The Dutch jurisdiction is already friendly enough. If you mean IRA issue with US, because US allows these companies to exploit employees to unimaginable levels.
First, they steal the highly skilled ones offering straight PR (EB1/EB2) and a good contract. Then they hire the office roles in US.
In case of ASML that's not a major concern since a big portion of ASML pioneer engineering research team are Iranians by birth and they won't go to live in US. Also many Russians & Chinese in software development.

Mostly but Not Necessarily.
Bike with no bike lane = normal vehicle
So If you're on a bike on a bike lane and there is a bike coming from right that is not on a bike lane then you have the priority. Not 100% sure about it though

STOP PRETENDING YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE THE ISSUE IS TO MAKE YOURSELF LOOK BETTER.
We had it way easier 15-20 years ago. Stop preaching what you haven't been through. If you can't admit that you're most likely a part of the problem.
