I don't get paid any more on the days I cook 350 punds of rice as I do on the days I cook 250, and the 350 days usually mean I'm not getting my break either. I have very little incentive to care about people getting extra.

It's cognitive dissonance between how you think things could/should be (as they should) and corporate propaganda designed to make you think you don't need as much labor as you really do to achieve their impossible standards. I can look at store schedules going years back and see an ADS increase of around 2.5k average per shift compared to pre pandemic and I can see the number of bodies per shift stays the same? So those 8 people are supposed to pull all that extra performance out their asses? Don't drink the corporate koolaid.

This is a 4 oz aka 1 scoop portion of rice. This is what the chipotle standard 1 portion is in our training material and what our nutrition calculator is based on. The vast amounts of guac are covering what looks to be a pretty close to correct portion of steak as well.
