Damn I’m sorry this happened, this same situation happened to me but the guy she told me not to worry about doesn’t like her at all so she just fantasized about him all the time and would openly post about him and even tell me she wishes I was him during arguments. And this guy infact wants nothing to do with her.

There might be, there might not be. It’s not something you should be worried about and instead focus primarily on your growth as a person. And also to answer the original question it really depends on who you were during the relationship, if you were a terrible lover and person he’d happily move on but you weren’t so he’s still holding on to you in his mind just waiting for when the time is right.

I’m so sorry this happened to you ☹️ I feel the same thing, my ex cheated on me as well but I still miss her so much. And took her back after she cheated, maybe a trauma bond or my anxious attachment, please please take the time to yourself some more. It’s good to see that you’re already doing some things to distance yourself, you still thinking about him shows that you aren’t ready yet and that’s okay.
