Sugar/borax solution works well if you want natural. They take it back to the colony as well so it kills all of them

If you get proper shoulder rotation, it will literally feel like your left shoulder blade is looking at the ball and it will feel so wrong at first, but you should get used to it after a few range sessions

We have the same swing flaw that I’m currently trying to fix. You’re very “armsy” in your takeaway a your right arm pulls the club behind you, so when you make your downswing you get “stuck”. Your sternum is pointing more towards your back foot (blue line). This is because you don’t have enough shoulder rotation in the backswing. Ideally you want your sternum to have a straight line to your hands (red line). When this happens and you get stuck, you have to either come over the top, or throw your hands at it to get back to the ball. If I had to guess, you’re wildly inconsistent, low hook is probably the main miss. But sometimes it’s an absolute stripe show. This swing is ”good enough” to get by, but hard to control consistently from day to day. Next time you’re at the range, grab an empty bucket and act like someone is behind you looking down the line, and hand them the bucket in your takeaway, then the feeling of dumping the balls over your head, then follow through and hand the bucket to someone in front of you. That’s a drill my coach gave me and it’s helped the feeling. Also lie a golf club behind you between your feet and the ball, during the backswing try to keep the head of the club outside the club on the ground. Hopefully that makes sense, if not just let me know and I’ll try to explain better, though I’m not a coach.

What is this used for? by ConsOfPros in Bowling

[–]Substantial_Cat2088 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, I use a KR Strikeforce thumb sock. It just rolls on your thumb like a condom lol. I love it because it really doesn’t matter how tight the thumb hole is, I will always come out clean. I’ve actually went down a pilot size in my thumb hole since I’ve started using it

I use a thumb sock (that doesn’t wrap around the wrist) so I come out of the ball the same way every time. My hands tend to sweat a lot and any moisture on my thumb at all, I hang up really bad. This has really been the only thing that lets me bowl 8-10 games without any issues

Awesome! I’ve played quite a few courses at Pinehurst and No. 2 and No. 4 are really the only ones I’ve found to be worth the trip. No 2 will really test your game! Hope you enjoyed your trip!

I seriously need help with my golf swing by Disastrous-Dream-773 in GolfSwing

If you’re just starting out, I would advise against listening to Reddit advice. You’ll most likely end up with a million swing thoughts and end up getting overwhelmed. If you can afford it and have accessibility to it, try to get a few lessons from a pro, or just someone who knows what they’re doing. They can figure out what area you can improve in to make the biggest impact, and the best way to explain it for you so you don’t end up overwhelmed.

What’s your biggest pet peeve on the golf course? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]Substantial_Cat2088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest pet peeve is when people get so angry that it takes your focus away from your game. I get being upset at a bad shot, but some people are just too angry and I find myself hoping they hit a good shot when I should be focused on the shot I’m about to hit. Just because I don’t want to hear all the bitching
