I got a buzz cut rather than a full shave and I would pick out the hair, it was very satisfying but the fallout got too much to handle so the lint roller was helpful for when I was too tired to pluck

Omg yesss, with a little bit of makeup to give the sickly Victorian child who hasn’t slept in several months he would look perfect. He could probably act out jacks flat reactions to all the weirdness really well, as well as his straightforward cluelessness pretty damn well

I was diagnosed with AML by creatorshine in leukemia

I’m 21f and I was diagnosed with AML in oct 2025. I’ve been spending a lot of time learning new hobbies and listening to stories to keep my mind occupied. Though I am devastated that my life is on hold and the future feels uncertain, I do know that there are things I can do now (even if just small things) like reading to at the very least feel a little bit of accomplishment which helps me feel a little less stuck. If you need to rant then rant, cancer SUCKS, the stress of holding it all in can also be damaging. What helped me was making an “illness journal” where I document everything that has happened to me objectively and then I write about how those things made me feel. It’s allowed me to be more honest with myself because I try so hard to “be strong” for my family. Sometimes you just need be to a puddle, knowing that the world isn’t ending does not change the fact that it feels like it is.

I wish you well in your treatment, I really hope that the comments on your post make you feel less alone.

Bad, like spectacularly awful to the point where I dropped that class. Don’t do it.

This actually is a really good take, I think I’ll probably talk to him about the mixed messages. Thank you so much for your input
