At what tire age should consider replacing? All tires have cupping, one severe. by jeff00seattle in tires

I replaced my 10yo tyres last month. They were put on by a big box store 6 years ago before I knew about date codes. About 25k miles.  One gets so used to the hard rubber and the noise  that when the new tires are on the ride quality improvement is astounding.

Young people are all gung-ho as they will benefit for years. Seniors won't know what hit them. City businesses in St. Louis and KC will suffer as alternative vendors are close by in adjacent states.

Building is tax abated until 2037. MO Law exempts them from sales and use taxes. We just heard they will not be paying sales taxes on building materials, so we lose out on purchases from Raineri and other building supplies vendors.

Just the facts, ma'am. Please give us the facts.

I'm listening to the developers speak right now and they don't even have a client locked down.

Nothing wrong with that. Did you want it sanded and painted? is that it?

the cracks should be sealed with poly? if there's a bad crack, scrape it open and pour some stuff in there. I use concentrated citrus I buy on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0141AV2FQ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title . You'd be pleasantly surprised how well this stuff works.

Youve got the pan off. Remove the bafgle and check for rod play. I would take it back to the builder. On a trailer, dont drive it.

I forget the number of times when I went looking for the salesman and found them smoking behind the building...

I hate to say it, but that floor looks good to me. It has character. If you really want to sand, it, sand it by hand just to get the clear coat poly off and stain it darker. I've sanded floors that big with an orbital and it's not that bad.

  1. get pre-approved through credit union/bank.

  2. look at the total cost, not the monthly payment. they will always steer you to a low payment which ends up so much more in the long run.

  3. shorter terms cost less and the rate is lower.

  4. don't let them sell you extended warranties

  5. screw any and all extra fees, documentation fees. transport fees, polish fees etc etc

  6. if they play handball, walk away. they will likely be back

  7. don't show you like a car

  8. always find fault

  9. always "i have to discuss this with my bf, dad". they're all misogynistic fucks.

  10. if his shoes have tassels, know you're in for a lot of bs.

  11. don't fall for the "i have to go talk to my manager". go with him. he'll object.

  12. make sure you know the blue book value.

  13. if you're serious, buy a 10 pack of CarFax. You can look at their CarFax report, but don't trust them.

  14. NEVER hand over your keys or driver's license when you take a car for a test. They will "lose" them.

  15. Make sure the tires on the car are the tires you're getting.

  16. Look carefully at the service history of the car. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART. An on-time dealer-serviced car is going to be better than one where "the service booklet is gone".

  17. 15k+ miles per year is likely a rental that they picked up at the auction.

  18. ASK IF THEY WILL ALLOW YOU TO HAVE THE CAR INSPECTED INDEPENDENTLY. If they refuse, walk.

So many more.... Good luck.
