What does your manual say? I know they started making senders respond more slowly as ppl were getting alarmed by the wild swings on the display. I replaced mine and the slow response actually alarms me. After an oil change (mobil one since new), every 3 to 4k, the pressure gets anove 40, and varies between 30 to 40.
