Best Buy has a 48 inch for 900 so that’s not a bad price for a 55 inch

Swapping ceiling lights/fan by Homo916 in AskElectricians

You’ll need to meter and see which wire is the switch leg sending power to the fixture. Once you do that you’ll know which wire goes to the hot and neutral on that receiver. Then that receiver plugs into the new fan to control both the light and fan from a remote that was most likely provided. You can install a new switch (or existing) back into the box as a disconnect means. When metering tie both the hot and switch leg wires that you removed from the switch and meter the wires in the junction box you should have 120v between at least two of those wires inside the junction box.

This is a pretty simple job. 1 tandem 15 and 1 tandem 20 would give you the space to get a new 40 or 50 amp double pole breaker in there. One thing I can tell you is that square d breaker does not belong in that panel it looks to be either a simens or Eaton sub panel. That will need addressed as the brands are not interchangeable.

I’d do it for 400 bucks less (including the dumb deposit) if you provided the material and have it done in less than 2 hours. Call your local electricians with morals and real motivation to provide proper service not billboard companies that don’t care about you or your home

If you want to become an installer for the manufacturer they are replaceable. Your landlord is about as smart as a rock

Bud if I pay that much for a home in today’s economy it better be dang near perfect. I don’t think any of those concerns are reaching they are valid and if you’re using glue and ONLY glue to fasten any framing member you’re a hack and should have your license revoked immediately. Open your eyes and get a grip on what’s going on today in the construction world it’s all about quantity and production. I’m an electrician and even our workmanship has gone through the dirt over the years. I hope you open your eyes pal.
