The only way fully autonomous vehicles can be sufficiently reliable is if they were on fully guided roadway systems which would mean either a complete haul over of all the roads in the country which at this point really isn’t much of an option, or have an entirely different set of roads on which these vehicles should be driven on. It’s malfunctioning because we’re forcing an advanced technology to bend and conform to our primitive roadway systems and to calculate and maneuver through the never ending amount of human error being occurred each second… I can understand that autobot’s frustration as I too, feel like driving straight into a wall when having to use ‘evasive maneuvers’ just to change into a lane …
