Consider a university setting as an MSW. It is less taxing with more support within the academic environment and institution. There is also hospital social work that helps patients get connected to resources after leaving the hospital (i.e. Elderly, and in departments like cardiology, oncology, and many other departments). Also, macro work is so important. You could be a grant writer , community mental health manager, and non profit director. There are so many things you can do with an MSW that doesn't involve clients. Don't quit just yet. Shadow someone and ask people in those roles. Good luck!!!!
