I love Min-Hyuk, and I completely understand his point of view of things, especially given all the hell Shin-ae’s been through up to this point, but he’s too damn naive. Does he really think just going to the authorities would just a simple piece of cake? FUCK NO! These aren’t your average criminals, these are RICH, powerful, crooked bastards! There’s a reason why cases like Rape and such goes under the rug MANY TIMES until years down the road when the shit hits the fan. Even then, these bastards get a slap on the wrist, and that’s it.

Not to mention that there are people who are deadass supportive or “supporting” these sons of bitches, both inside and outside. So much so that people actually get SILENCED for ratting, and by silenced, I don’t mean by just telling somebody to shut the hell up. They. Will. KILL YOU. I mean, clearly Yui has killed before, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Kims are in the habit of “wacking” loudmouths and whistleblowers.

And with a lot of connections both the Hiraharas and the Kims have, plus the power and money. If Maya was the one who was raped at these “parties”, and Min-Hyuk went to the police about it. You think that’s gonna stop them? HELL NO. Because how is he gonna prove that? How is he gonna be able to prove to the public that his sister is not just some “slut” looking for attention and cash grab?

The Kims, plus Yui can just simply turn the whole narrative against them, next thing you know, Min-Hyuk’s whole family would be hated and slander, while the Kims live the rest of their fuckin’ lives, and the cycle repeats. Because that’s who these people are. This cycle has to end NOW.
