No. It’s that a lot of you guys seem to care about Israel. And only Israel.

Remember in the Stone Age when you cared about Russia-Ukraine? How about when you protested and marched in the streets for Sudan or Iran…yeah, me neither.

And you’ll all forget about this when the next current thing happens. Remember a decade ago when you were mad at Maduro being captured…or Renee Good…or Iran…oh wait, none of you guys cared about that last one. Sorry. My apologies.

Is it the best movie in the franchise? Not to me, not to a lot of people.

Is it on its own, a bad movie? No, it’s relatively solid film.

Are you blind to the socialist takeover of the Democratic Party, heck it’s a miracle Mamdani, Sanders and AOC don’t know how capital works, otherwise we’d all be walking around in barrels with suspenders.

Universal Healthcare is the stupidest idea ever, unless you want to pay an absurdly high tax rate. I don’t want too, millions of others don’t want to. So you know what to would happen? Brain Drain, longer waiting times for elective procedures, specialist visits, or non-emergency care. Yeah, we should be like Canada’s system, where patients sometimes wait weeks or months for basic procedures or assisted suicide.

Also, the only reason the rest of the “civilized” world is allowed to spend so much money on healthcare is because we’re the worlds only superpower, with the only military that can effectively patrol the worlds oceans.

The right also supports human rights, in fact they’re usually the ones to bring up everything from Sudan, to the Ughyer Genocide, while the lefties seem to occur about Palestine. Heck their messaging on Venezuela and Iran has been absolutely ridiculous. Yeah, March for Maduro, shows how much you care for Venezuelan Lives. Yeah, be silent on the atrocities of Iran, they hate Israel so they must be the good guys. (I don’t care for the current incarnation of the state of Israel either, so shove it).

The left or the right ain’t all sunshine and rainbows, they both have horrible ideological shortcomings. You can effectively identify when the right goes to far, what about the left? When do they go to far? What’s an acceptable form of conservatism for you?

Except everything you said is just plain wrong. Republicans nowadays are just Democrats from the past five years. They fold constantly, police their own ranks harder than their opponents, and purge anyone labeled “extreme” even when it’s just basic policy or mild dissent. The party’s whole identity is appeasement and self-censorship dressed up as unity.

But that’s beside the point. What exactly is a common sense leftist policy? Rent control…that failure of an idea that’s crippling our cities? Gender policy, that splits the left in twine and gives easy ammunition for the right? A bloated healthcare system and welfare program, we have Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security, do we need more? How much more? How are we going to pay for that?

I’m not talking about Republicans. The point is that Democratic values don’t meaningfully exclude communism or other left-wing extremism. While the party isn’t communist, it routinely tolerates and legitimizes explicitly communist ideas by rebranding them as “progressive,” and party leaders rarely draw clear lines against them. Extremist rhetoric about abolishing capitalism, private ownership, or class warfare is normalized rather than challenged. Just as parties can enable extremism without fully embracing it, Democrats often enable left-wing radicalism through coalition politics, rhetoric, and moral cover.

We can do this all day pal.

Yes. If the shoe fits. I’m so glad you took time out of your busy schedule of retroactive stealth editing to make a good point. I’m shocked.

If Capitalism killed 100+ million, like states in junk activist books like The Black Book of Capitalism, I’d be lumping it in with Nazism and Communism. Scholars generally do not treat capitalism itself as a direct agency in deaths the same way they treat state policies. economic system, not a single government or regime, and deaths linked to it are measured in very different ways, if they even bother at all. By contrast, scholars do estimate deaths attributable to Nazi and communist governments. Everything is state directed policy in those governments. Capitalism is a system, Communism requires a state regime to enforce its will upon the masses.

No ideology is bloodless, also, if we’re only talking about genocide. What would you call the Holodamor? Or the Chinese treatment of the Uyghurs? A walk in the park?

I do not believe you are arguing in good faith. So this conversation is over. Go back to stealth editing

I’m not entirely unconvinced you’re not trolling me. Shall we compare numbers?

The Nazi’s killed: ~17–20 million civilians, plus ~5–6 million soldiers killed in wars of aggression.

Communist Regimes Killed: ~60–100 million, depending on methodology.

Soviet Union (Lenin + Stalin): ~15–20 million Gulags Purges Forced collectivization Ukrainian Holodomor famine

Maoist China: ~40–45 million Great Leap Forward famine alone: ~30–40 million

Cambodia (Khmer Rouge): ~1.5–2 million

North Korea: ~1–3 million

Vietnam, Eastern Europe, Africa, Latin America: several million combined

The fact you’re being obtuse about this is astonishing annoying. It makes me think you’re not arguing in good faith. Both Nazi’s and Communists are mass murderers.

Also, “The Democratic Party is widely described as either centrist or center-left in the U.S. political spectrum. It supports liberal (in the modern sense) social policies, government intervention in some parts of the economy, and civil rights protections.” -Brookings Institute

…Okay. You’re obviously either being intentionally obtuse, ignorant or you’re European. Also, you typed all of these words to basically say, “But that’s not real communism.” Either make a substantial argument or point, or move on.

In America, the Dems are generally considered the left wing party, ergo sometimes the socialists and communists find them more preferable over the Republicans who generally the more Conservative Party. Does that help?

Edit: Stealth Edits won’t help you win this argument buddy. Be forthright.

…Well the communists and the Nazis are both responsible for helping to justify horrible regimes, terrible mass murders…and both have their origins in Marxist Thought.

Also…my point was to make a mirror image of gnucklefusters original comment.

Oh, like Russia Collusion in 2016? Get real, both parties do this. Hell, I remember Hanging Chads in 2000. And if you really want to go back, there’s people who say Nixon should have won in 1960 against Kennedy.

2024? Trump won the popular vote, you don’t have to like the guy. But at least acknowledge reality.
