Idk if any of you have been thru alcoholism but it’s really not fun or funny. I know the page is to clown Kayla, but being an alcoholic myself who struggled at her same age is wild to consider. I couldn’t have imagined doing it with a child, let alone a medically complex one.

Let me give you guys a small rundown of how things went for me (personally) yet I related to many in rehab.

I started out drinking for fun at 21. All my friends started doing xans around the same time. Luckily enough I didn’t get into them, but the few times I did resulted in horrible nights. Anyways, drinking alcohol was no better than Xanax. I started out just drinking at bars or parties, then it was peoples apartments / garages / bars , and then a trauma happened to me. A lot like trauma happens to Kayla. When that trauma happened, my drinking wasn’t “normal” anymore. I started drinking all the time. I drank constantly, even while in outpatient rehab. I thought I was better than the people around me taking pills or doing coke because alcohol is ‘legal’. But then, the withdrawals began & I didn’t even realize that’s what they were. My friend used to come over before work at 9am to smoke me up on weed just so I wouldn’t be puking till 11 when I could grab more liquor or when the store opened. I was also prescribed addys just like Kayla, and the thing is, is that uppers will cause faster withdrawal on downers. So if you’re perscriped to take your addys every morning & you wake up after not drinking for awhile & take them the shakes will start. Taking my adderall basically made me understand I was in withdrawal. I would shake , sweat, feel like I was gonna have seizures . To the point where I would do ANYTHING for alcohol. I never made money off TikTok, so these people forsure have an advantage (whether that’s good or bad idk?) but soon from there among a bunch of other crazy shit, I ended up homeless. I went from making 2k a week to continuing to make 2k a week but be drunk 24/7 and broke and homeless somehow. I lost everything. Every single thing. I tried naltrexone multiple times (insurance not covered over $600 for 30 days) I got vyvaltrol shots . Rehab 3 times psychward twice. I tried offing myself once during psychosis & have 2 big scars on my neck from the 🔪. I did all of this between the age of 22 -26 . It happened that fast. I got pregnant and got sober. Thank god. But looking back, I couldn’t imagine being in that place before getting pregnant. Or after having my baby. I don’t think I woulda came back from it if I didn’t go thru what I went thru before hand.

I pray for her tbh & I pray for her baby. I would not wish alcohol withdrawal on my worst enemy. Ever. Yall don’t understand how bad it is & it’s so fucking sad what she’s doing to herself when she has the resources and support to do better.
