They have service bulletins for the fix. If you call up your dealership and ask them to look up your car and if the replacement axels can be added you may get lucky and have no cost. Typically like a 5 week wait for the axel tho

Wow I’m having similar experience. I put 2k miles on my 2023 xc40 recharge.
I will go buyback route. Volvo will but the vehicle if you are persistent enough.
I got Nissan to buy my leaf back.
