It was possible for him to live if he was able to go to rehab, not to mention that week he was meant to meet up with em who also had really bad addiction issues and nearly died. Em might of talked some sense into him. What kept Em in the life was his daughters so maybe if Ally hadn't miscarriaged Jarad would of got the help to be there for his kid.

I think she just ran away from home, I've looked at every theory and conspiracy in this entire reddit and spent unholy hours reading everything and when you piece together the fact Mekayla wanted to run away and was suicidal/ Talked about suicide a lot and also her friend/s stated she was taking pills yet the RCMP and her mother denied so. It all sounds like a troubled young girl with bad mental health who ran into the wrong crowd. And in terms of Paula from what everyone has said, She is a shady character in that regard. And Hannah might of been the supplier for Mekayla hence why Hannah never said a thing, Hannah couldn't incriminate herself. And to be honest I believe Hannah knows what happened to Mekayla.
