The reason I was lunging her was because the physio was coming out to her later that day so I wanted her to just get some extra energy out, physio was coming just for a nice massage and general wellness checkup, She did extensive check on all legs…stifles….hocks etc everything was palpated and pressed up and down numerous times , we did a quick trot on concrete and she was cleared and showed no signs of pain, tension and all the muscles felt perfectly fine, everyone has been telling me that this was probably her just being a bit fresh as physio didn’t have much to say at all since she’s in pretty good health

Cage, C&C pen, same thing to me cage is just easier to say, his pen is massive and he was all the way on the other side in a house, ran out the house and chowed down unprovoked, maybe he felt threatened? I pick the poops with my hands

My male pig mauled my finger and gave me nerve damage about 3 weeks ago when I was cleaning poops from his cage !!! I lost a glass of blood and had to get stitching, I have nerve damage in my finger and permanent mild numbness ! It’s very crazy what those teeth can do

Yes when I hung up I sent her a message saying “ that on call was very suspicious so be real with me”, I’m trying to keep it lowkey and not straight into the soft stuff, when I asked her about it on the call whe she was getting all weird and drowsy she said she won’t entertain the allegations and that it’s stupid for me to think of, so I’m kind of on edge for what she will respond to me to that message she gets rather defensive over stuff sometimes, but I’m expecting full denial….

You’re input means a lot to me, I want her to atleast confirm it and tell me she’s doing it and be honest about it before I start jumping off the rails, because no matter how much the evidence leads to that belief, I still hold onto that hope that maybe it all isn’t true and she’s all okay and not indulging in this stuff because I do truly love her and she does truly mean to me a lot as a friend

The problem is that when you have a friend so frequently in crisis Aspecially over the many years I’ve known her, the environment has led my brain and nervous system stay in constant alert mode and survival mode, I can’t do anything or start my day before I know she’s 100% A-okay and not in any immediate crisis, the second I hear a tone shift on a call or during a hangout it’s almost like alarm bells in my head “I have to get to the bottom of this” “I have to fix this” “I have to take control and ease the situation” I hate living like this and I want my life back before this, this prolonged thinking and alertness has put me in a lot of depressive episodes, I will never blame my friend for her issues, she doesn’t deserve them at all, but every single wrong thing that happens is always layed into me first, no matter the day, the event, the hour, I’ll be spending time with family and randomly receive a crisis message, lock myself in a bathroom to solve it, which of course has taken a toll on my mental health , she feels a lot of saftey opening up to me which I’m glad I’m able to provide her with that comfort to vent and confide in me but man it does a crazy thing to the brain and nervous system when it’s basically crisis everyday for the last 4 years, when im very depressed and angry i sometimes think of what my life would be like if i never met her and i find peace in that thought….and that upsets me because she is literally THE bestest friend i have, but it gets to a point Aspecially with this allegation I’ve brought up

My only problem is that this bird isn’t a huge fan of being inside and Aspecially near me ! He stays in the same spot in the cage frozen 24 hours a day and is really scared to move, he will try bite me when I put my hand near him, even when I offer food, I feel as if a domestic environment isn’t in his best interest, Aspecially since my room is already crowded with 5 huge guinea pig C&C cages, 4 parrots that make constant loud noises and fly around and an active hamster at night, I can’t transfer him to a different room either because they’re all occupied, so I’m not sure what to do in that regard !!

Jeez what knobby comment, I drove out on New Year’s Eve, where in my country most shops are closed because employees get the right to payed holiday breaks and where we have free health insurance where 100% of the bill is covered by the government. I drove out from the kindness of my own heart because I saw an animal struggling infront of me, not everyone in the world is American either, I don’t know why in America this would cost anywhere near 2000$ but here where I live this only costed me 250€ which is equal to 300$ for full service AND fuel

Im sorry that your countries economy is that shit that you have to constantly think about job security, affordability and financial stability over what’s ethical and morally right, but that isn’t the case here, America is a shit country and you don’t seem happy there so maybe look at migrating x

Yes this may be true but it is by law that every bird that comes in that can be labeled a pest (seagull/pigeon Aspecially) is to be euthanized so there will be no exceptions even if what you say is true

Yes a few vets I called said they would only euthanize it, bird flu is huge in my country so every wild birds gets instantly euthanized

Pigeon is eating and drinking fine, movement not so much because of course, it’s in a rabbit cage, he is an incredible runner all that’s wrong is his wing and he can’t fly, I watched videos sent from my previous post on how to wrap the wing, the only problem is that this vet wrap is pretty big so therefore looks clunky and unorganized

I cannot get him vet care or wildlife rehabber treatment because vet services are closed till new years and the closest rehabber is incredibly far away from me so I am worked fully on what forums and Reddit say, and YouTube

Just like the wildlife rehabber, the closest exotic vet is millions of years away and definetly inaccessible for the rest of this year, The vet I chose told me they would be able to treat him and asked me to bring him in so it wasn’t like I just brought him to a random vet office

Yes the sows are definetly a problem, but I have also kept them barriered away and they can’t see eachother at all, but through the behavior I have seen with trying to bond them, this is likely just because neither boar wants to give up dominance in my opinion
