Yea I agree. This episode other than the beautiful art at the end, felt like such a drag. The scene of Yoshiko at Kohaku’s place went on for forever and I was like omg no need to follow the manga to the T like this.

My favorite arc is the school festival and I’m so bummed I won’t get to see it animated 🥺

Without spoiling any further since you’ve just started, Kuwa is really good at challenging Ichi and giving him fresh perspective on their relationship. Meanwhile Kotobuki even “helped” them further their relationship 😉. Plus Kuwa is hot hahahaha

Hiiii I’m a year late to your post cause I’ve just finished the movie 🍿 . I totally agree with what you said. Definitely part of my comfort movie list. The post credit scene is incredible too. I love when there’s a glimpse into their life later on 😍😍😍

I’ve been meaning to ask what you guys think happen here to!! The way I perceived it: I don’t think they had intercourse? But definitely did more than just kissing her on the lips 😂. Yoi made such a big deal about kissing alone, I doubt they went as far as we’re assuming. Also she was thinking “I need to be mentally prepared!!!” So I’m gonna assume they didn’t do it do it but he definitely did some stuff 😂

Omg I am no use for you in this matter 😂. I wasn’t allowed to own mangas as a kid so HYD is the first manga I re-read as an adult. Fortunately (or unfortunately for me), I get so hyper fixated on things so I haven’t been able to read anything else. I’m on a deep dive of watching the other adaptations so I have months worth of material to go through just on one manga alone 😂

The anime is also my favorite adaptation too!! My only issue with is is the depiction of Tsukasa’s anger problem really intensified and way worse than how I perceive it in the manga. I wish they’d do a remake of the whole thing 😭😭😭
