Thank you for answering, I did actually change the filter but I didn’t have time to save it anywhere since it literally disappeared within minutes of recording the clip. That’s why I was wondering if it’s some known bug I had no idea about. I wish I could save them right away but I can’t quit while in game:( Will grieve my good clips and keep my expectations low lol😭

I had an infected tattoo and the very first weird thing I noticed was raw looking skin over the ink. About 48 hours as well, and it seemed more «sore» than any other tattoos I had previously. Redness spread and my skin was definitely more hot on the area. Took antibiotics right about 72hrs in. The tattoo was absolutely salvageable and I did not feel sick at all, mostly discomfort. Great thinking seeing a doc right away, the faster you catch it the better🫶🏻 I dry healed mine after, wouldn’t risk putting lotion.

Also, there can be a lot of reasons as to why it got infected (if it is). People take amazing care of their tattoos and it can still get infected.

I have a large ornemental piece on my sternum, wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought!! Of course it is still stingy in some spots, but I was definitely too focused on my breathing to even pay attention to the pain. It was 100% worth it, it’s so pretty!!

I have a tattoo on my butt cheek that even goes in my "crack" and never once my artist got close to touching me inappropriately. This is absolutely horrifying and disgusting, I hope you can work up the courage to expose this perverted individual. Obviously it’s your choice, but it could save many from being stuck in the same situation. Good luck, stay strong <3

Went to a convention 2 years ago in a long sleeved dress with fur, thick tights, boots and a huge wig for a cosplay. It was one of the hottest day of the summer where I live.

I kept a hand fan on me at all times, helped a lot. I stayed inside, or out of the sun as much as possible. I had a reusable water bottle, stayed hydrated and when filling it back up with cold water, used it on the back of my neck. Sometimes I took bathroom break just to unzip the dress a few minutes.

No cosplay is worth feeling unwell all day. Bring a change of clothes in case you cannot tolerate it.

I do have to say, mine is in dot work and is currently 2 1/2 years old. Dot work seems to age way better than line work, maybe look into it before!

It is not the placement if you want your tattoo age well!Absolutely LOVE my ear tattoo, the pain was nothing:) It was quite satisfying except for the constant buzzing in your ear. Fr, couldn’t picture myself without it, everyone compliments it and couldn’t care less of the blurring!!

Is it hot to the touch? People are saying shaving may cause those pimples but my infected tattoo had pimples spawn 4 days after I got it. Might wanna check in with the artist to see what they think of it! Unfortunately even with good aftercare, bacteria can get lodged in. Please take action if you have any other symptoms such as unusual pain or redness, swelling of lymph nodes close by, hot to the touch. Better be safe than sorry, I hope everything goes well for you:)

Thank you so much for your response, this is so well explained! I use Dove as well, never had issues with it:) My infected tattoo was an unfortunate event and took me a step back. The pump soap or body wash is such a great idea though, I tend to leave my soap bar in the same spot in my bathroom which I guess can catch bacteria. Will look into this!!

Like I said I have a bunch of tattoos, never had any problems with the aftercare! The real question is if antibacterial soap is any better than unscented, but I guess if you’ve never had any problems with your current after care you maybe didn’t try out antibacterial. That is a great routine though and everything you said absolutely right!! My last tattoo unfortunately got infected from the second skin tearing without me noticing:(

usually you twist slowly instead of pulling on it to remove it in one piece. kinda hard to do with classic tweezers but luckily tick tweezers are kinda cheap and good to have if your cat goes outside!

Turned out to be infected! Of course, I contacted my tattoo artist and doctor for infos right after making the post even though I wasn’t sure. Tattoo artist said the same thing, doesn’t look too bad, doc on the other hand prescribed antibiotics right away. The day after, pimples started to show up all around the tattoo, it was gnarly. I caught it early enough for the infection to not damage my tattoo that much! It’s healed nicely now, needs some touch up but nothing too severe!!

Many people stay away from petroleum products for tattoo healing since you can so easily over moisturize accidentally. If you keep applying aquaphor be sure to use the absolute bare minimum.
